Dan has considerable irrigation system experience based on his commercial work with golf courses. He understands common failure modes based on the age and type of parts and materials used in irrigation systems. He also understands local soil composition and its role in irrigation systems. His work was high quality and his price was reasonable.

I was also having an issue with the drip line in my sprinkler system. He was able to find the problem quickly and fixed it at a good price. The issues we had are related to the copper pipe work. I would not recommend him for those types of jobs. On his first trip to our house, he left such a downward angle in the piping that I wouldn't be able to drain all of the water out in the fall. He agreed to come out and correct the issue. On his second visit, he redid the pipe work but somehow made everything worse. There was still a downward slope on the inlet pipe to the backflow preventer (see picture), and the outflow pipe was now crooked. I ended up paying another company to come out and correct his mistakes. I would recommend Dan for poly pipe problems. I would NOT recommend him for any copper pipe work. I don't think that's his area of expertise.

When you have a busted head and water is shooting everywhere, you want someone there yesterday, not next Tuesday. The price was reasonable, though, I'll give them that. The technician knew what he was doing and got the head fixed pretty quickly once he arrived. What I appreciated was that he also took the time to adjust my Rachio controller settings without me even asking. That was a nice touch since most irrigation guys fix the immediate problem and bolt. The work itself was solid - no complaints there. The new head is working perfectly and hasn't given me any issues since. It's just that initial response time that knocked them down from what could've been a 4-star experience. Would I call them again? Probably, but I'd plan next time instead of treating it like an emergency. If you're not in a rush and want decent work at a fair price, they'll get the job done.

Fortunately, 303 Sprinklers seems to be doing well. Matt is super responsive to both seasonal and repair requests. In the beginning of June, I used the Request a Quote feature on Yelp to get our home irrigation system all set up. This is our first summer in the new house, and naturally repairs were necessary for the sprinkler system. Teague was responsive, professional, and very easy to work with. Though I had to shell out some $$ for parts, he was very transparent about what was needed and ended up giving me a slight discount on his labor and time. He turned on the water supply in the crawl space, installed new parts in the front of my house, set up the timers on the sprinkler system, and even installed a few new parts to make sure all zones of my front and backyards were being watered properly.
