The worst!!!!! Never use this company. My special needs Aunt…read morewas dying in a nursing home. I called and said "My Aunt is dying and I can't handle this, I need help" The hospice nurse said " I was just there this morning and she was fine" well, she was not fine. My best friend is a hospice nurse with another company. I video taped my Aunt and counted her breaths. My friend said she is dying. She said ask for morphine because they gave my Aunt nothing. Dying special needs and no meds. Unreal. Still being tube fed up until the end. A total heartbreaking nightmare for me. I was screaming, GET THE MORPHINE!!! Finally she got it, surprised I was not arrested. She got it and then passed away 15 minutes later. Total nightmare that haunts me. Never use Seasons hospice !!!!!

My 95 year old Mother was under Season's Hospice care for a year at an assisted living home the…read moreentire one year Covid-19 lockdown. I depended on them to give me a full report after each visit. I found out that one nurse who was supposed to visit face to face with Mom was actually calling the head nurse at the Home to get a report from her car, and would relay Mom's vitals to me like she was actually there. When I asked the nurse about something specific pertaining to Mom, she would quickly tell me she was doing fine and would change the subject. I found out from the Home admins she was not even going into my Mom's room. Well, my Mom passed away on March 8th 2021, and not one nurse came to visit her during the last week of her life. All they were doing was prescribing more and more morphine until Mom was a vegetable and hadn't been able to eat for four days before she cruelly died. The Home asked me if I would like to be Mom's care giver the final days and had I not been there to give Mom water and whisper support to her, she might have died sooner. For the last days of Mom's life, the Home acted as if their hands were tied being under Hospice care and Hospice acted as if Mom's final days were the Homes' responsibilities. Mom passed on March 8th and I have not received any condolences from any nurse that had visited her for the past year. The only person to call was Lynn, a social worker who has been monitoring my health and well being during since the start. Shame on you Season's Hospice for not caring about my Mom even in her final days under your care. You had no problem billing my Mom's Medicare for a year though. Andy Z.

****Please Research before signing onto Grace Hospice Troy, Mi** I WILL LIVE THE REST…read moreOF MY LIFE WITH GILT AND REGRET!!!! I signed my mother onto Grace and will live the rest of my life with regrets! Starting with Courtney (clinical Supervisor) who lied to me indicating I could not bring my mother to the hospital after their nurse telling me we needed to. Since it was not involving the reason we signed my mother into hospice. Then I spoke to her supervisor who told me Courtney misspoke. Nurse telling me I had enough Morphine to last throughout weekend on both Saturday and Sunday to end up running out. Mom was in distress for three hours waiting for it to arrive only after I made several calls. There are so many other inconsistencies that I am uncomfortable posting. For anyone considering this company please know during this difficult decision Please Please for your loved ones question everything. I wish I would of NEVER signed onto this hospice, at the time I wanted to revoke my mom was to weak from their neglect. My mother passed due to the fact they let a condition go so long it was to late and had nothing to do with the condition she was signed on for. Visiting Physicians group refers to grace due to the fact the physician works for both companies! God Bless you with your decision.

My mother's health deteriorated rapidly, so we needed hospice care rather quickly. We had used a…read moredifferent hospice with my father, and that experience was great. But all hospices are not created, (or run) equally. Since a family member knew someone who worked for Grace Hospice, they were able to get us enrolled immediately. We thought this was a lucky break. It wasn't. They were nothing like the hospice we used for my dad, and nothing went right. Communication was horrible, response time for rather emergent situations was apalling, and the nurses, while I'm sure meant well, were grossly undertrained for the job. My mom had a pleurx catheter that needed draining and cleaning, and none of the nurses they sent had any knowledge or experience with them. If you are in need of Hospice care for a loved one, please research your options as much as possible. There are some very good ones out there, but Grace is not one of them.
