We were at the end, when our pastor recommended New Creations. What an answer to prayer....a lot of prayer! He is a changed man through God's mercy, grace and love. Heart and Hand is an amazing home. Everyone is kind, caring, and attentive to their clients. They work very hard to ensure the health and safety of their clients. It took a week to iron out a few problems stemming from the previous facility and then another week to let the current staff know exactly what my family member required to be comfortable. The problem started last night w a arrogant, rude, unprofessional employee who claimed to be their Wellness coordinator. He intiated a conversation with me and succeeded in leading me to this review. He did not have good listening skills and proceeded to tell me what he wanted me to do. He said I was to contact him with any and all issues at the Facility. My contact has been with the manager and i had no idea who this employee was or where he fit in with the chain of command. I recommend before plscing your family member here, to find out if this employee still works there. He claimed to be in charge of the MED Techs there, and told me the Facilty had received 20 new residents in the past 2 weeks so he has had no time to review each individual residents medicine requirements! That is a big problem and not acceptable to be informing me of his failure to comply with State Standards. Im going to say the rest of the staff including the Manager had been doing a great job until this Wellness coordinator put his 2 cents in. Now im having doubts.

My aunt's experience was deeply upsetting. The level of care we witnessed was unacceptable, and at times, disturbing. What made matters worse was the staff's consistently rude and dismissive attitude. It's incredibly disheartening to see people treated this way in a place that's supposed to provide care and compassion. From our experience, this doesn't feel like an isolated issue, but an ongoing pattern. Please do your research before making a decision. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

My dad was also a resident there years ago when this company was under a different management. The care was not like it is today. They've done a huge turn around with this facility. The nurse director, Susanne Martinez, has been exceptional with the dedication it takes to care for its' residents as well as guiding her nurses to go above and beyond to provide excellent care for their patients. My mother is well taken care of and our family is grateful for their attention.
