Everything was a fairytail and wouldnt have been possible without Anna. First, the hotel itself. We had several rooms booked by several guests and every single room has an amazing view. Some rooms were more upgraded then others and the prices reflected it - though all prices were beyond reasonable. Trust me even the rooms that werent upgraded were clean & guests enjoyed the discounted price. All rooms were larger than typical European rooms. More comparable to the size of hotel rooms in the US. The rooms are clean and depending on the room, balconies large and are amazing places to sit and enjoy the morning coffee. The staff was amazing. Like every single person at the hotel went above and beyond on anytging and everything we needed. Angelica helped us with so many things from getting my dress steamed to ferry and bus schedules. This truely made the trip an enjoyable experience. Maiori itself is the perfect place on the Amalfi Coast to stay. Its close enough to all the towns to adventure to, has the largest beach and just seemed to have more authentic restaurants, stores and places where Italians actually lived. I cant wait to go back!

We stayed at the residence and had NO access to the pool. NO room service. NO cleaning service. We also had to pay for toilet paper and fresh sheets (crazy concept). This hotel is all around CHEAP and has awful service. Their website says everything amenity wise is included but thats a HUGE LIE or poor translation. Lastly, rooms were uncomfortable and sheets were itchy. Wish I could give it 0 stars. We checked out 5 days early and booked it as fast as we could to a different hotel. 0 reimbursement, but we could not care less.

I did a ton of research to find the right place to stay for the Amalfi Coast portion of our Italy…read moretrip... and Palazzo Montesanto was the perfect choice! Located in an upscale part of Maiori across the street from the beach, the Palazzo Montesanto is a small bed and breakfast that occupies one floor of a five-story building. In this part of Italy, most of the places to stay are smaller bed and breakfasts, so you never really know what you're going to get. We got super lucky, so of course I needed to add this place on Yelp and wrote a review! Maiori is located between Salerno and Positano with Minori and Amalfi both locates relatively nearby! So Maiori really is a perfect location if you're looking to explore like we did! The sign for Palazzo Montesanto is small, but their attention to detail is great! They truly want to make your stay an enjoyable one and we were provided with a lot of helpful local information by the gentleman who checked us in. Prior to even arriving, he reached out to us to ask us our expected arrival time, so that they could be prepared. We spent that day exploring Naples and Pompei, so we were pretty late in arriving at Palazzo Montesanto... and it was no problem at all! Quick check-in, then they walked us to our room, and even allowed us to make our breakfast choices for the next morning! As far as breakfast, you have plenty of choices and they even allow you to pick your breakfast time! Our room had a partial ocean view along with that stunning coastal/mountain view (see my pics)... and it was every bit as nice as they presented it on the booking site we used. And I believe all of their rooms have balconies like ours did, so you can enjoy breakfast overlooking the gorgeous scenery! My father landed here and I wanted to see the battlefield where he was. He survived the war or else I would not be here! Hotel is a typical small Italian hotel that is dirt cheap and clean. Paid 60 dollars to include continental breakfast. Lots of local pastries, small buffet breakfast with cereals and cold cuts. It is located 50 yards from the beach and includes free hotel parking. This is low season so I would imagine the rates are much higher during the summer season.
