Resaca Beach is not easy to get to but the hike is 100% worth it. You have to drive to the end of Calle Resaca (or should I say the top), park and hike all the way down through the trees. The path is well marked and curves frequently. The first section is downhill and over rocks that can be slippery. Hikers should be in decent shape and the hike down can be slightly precarious at points and the hike back is straight uphill. Upon exiting the canopy you emerge on to a truly perfect (and probably empty) beach. It is SO beautiful and un-touched. If you go to Culebra and are more into adventure then a hike to Resaca is totally worth it. read more
