Water leaks were found in the attic and other roof areas, along with wind and hail damage to the 15+ years old shingles. Charles reviewed his findings with our insurance adjuster, and we were approved to proceed with a roof replacement. Charles and Celso reviewed with us the details of the project with a professional approach, conveying trust and peace of mind. Charles provided updates, with photos periodically as the work progressed throughout the day of the project, from tear off to new roof finish. Additionally, we contracted C&B to provide repairs and replacement to rotted portions of siding, fascia, soffit and garage door, along with painting this entire area. Charles and Celso were on hand during this project to answer any questions and take pictures as the work progressed. This work was done exceptionally well. My experience with Alex was great. Him and I talked on Yelp before he came to look at the roof in…read moreperson. I asked him some questions about the work I was planning on doing for the house I just bought, and he was able to get me an initial quote really quickly. Attached to the quote was all of New Roof's social media, insurance, and license information which was really nice. The price I paid vs the price I was quoted was about 15% different, but I chose to have 700$ of custom apron flashing added and was warned of the cost associated with some repairs that needed to be done underneath the actual shingles before hand. Alex was very quick to get back to me and very respectful to my home (taking off his shoes, making sure my dogs could use the bathroom while the roof was being repaired, etc). We were well warned about what the process of getting the roof replaced would be: the noise, the debris from the roof, the time it could take, etc. The best part of the process was that they were actually able to fix a major moisture issue in the roof I was unaware of, and my house smells a lot better now :). The crew that came to work on the house were great - I didn't personally talk to anyone but it was clear they were working hard and they cleaned up the yard very well. I got pictures of my roof before, during, and after. I asked a bunch of questions along the way and Alex was very responsive and answered all of them. I got about half a dozen quotes for my roof before I made a decision - New Roof was on the lower side of the quotes I got, they did not charge me a steep fee which was great (2 other quotes I got included one and the fee wasn't cheap), and I really appreciated how quick Alex was to respond to my messages and that I never felt "sold" during this process. My roof wasn't easy, the house was built in 1979 and had a roof that was previously done poorly installed and I think they did a great job replacing it and fixing the issues that were a result of the previous work. Scheduled an inspection to see what needed to be repaired and materials needed, give us the contract (and no additional costs were added during the repair) then scheduled repair date. The roof was "droned" so that any other areas that needed attention could be found and we watched the movie - The Roof. A team of three arrived to do the repairs. They are safety minded. Two guys (Buddy system) on the roof together. Actually painted to match the new flashing they installed so the roof looks perfect. Checked the whole roof and caulked/re-fastened nails, etc. Explained and showed me what was done after work was completed. Ivy then emailed our invoice. I have had nothing but headaches with getting my roof repaired for the past 4 years. I've been…read morecomplaining to the HOA to get it fixed as it's now ruining my ceiling in my bedroom and I'm losing small chunks of the ceiling from water damage. For the last 2-3 year this company has been contracted to come out and "fix" the leak however every few months the leak is back and worse than it was before. They came out a week or so ago to "fix" it. Didn't even go into the attic to see where the leak was and then disappeared outside and then left without even telling me if they fixed it or not. Cut to this past Sunday & Monday when we had torrential rain and storms and I was woken up at 5am by a consistent stream of water coming through my ceiling from the "fixed" leak. This is SO frustrating as I don't know what they can't just fix it! I should not be complaining about the same leak for 4 years now. It's really ridiculous at the point.

After getting blown off by another roofing company 2 times, I looked to YELP to get someone out to…read morelook at a failing soffit/fascia area next to my gutters. I called and Alex picked up immediately. Very polite on the phone and booked an appointment with him in two days. Alex arrived early, did a walk around the entire house, told me there were 2 additional areas that needed repair, he walked me outside and showed me the areas. I was sort of sick about additional areas that needed to be replaced but frankly I could see it and of course I didn't want rain water entering the house so I appreciated his keen eye on my issues. I also had a xeriscape rain barrel that I wanted hooked up to a downspout. This was done Tuesday (excellent job and added height to it to allow for better flow, innovative!) and today Thursday the main work was done and in a tidy manner and it looks great. Alex went up on the roof the first visit and took numerous pictures, diagnosed nails and missing shingles. This was awesome to show my husband all the pictures (roof is about 30 feet high and peaked so we cannot access).
