Have drivers out here cussing at kids, dropping f bombs to them. Have witnesses. Truck # 2349 the driver pulled up to my daughter who's under 18 and proceeded to cuss at them because they thought her car was in his way. Yes he started cussing at a minor, unbelievable. Tried getting ahold of company and was almost just as bad. They wouldn't let me speak with a manager for starters, then was not at all helpful at all and had a bad attitude and was acting rude and angry.. what a way to run a company. I would totally not recommend doing business with this company and have this whole incident recorded and have already spoken with a news channel that's coming out today to speak with us about this.. read more

If I could add a zero for Republic Services I would. I've had to call and complain about my bill increase for the whole time I've had service with them. Started service 2020. Every few month my bill increases and now that I was at the end of my contract the last 5 or 6 months they increased my monthly fee from 112.00 a month to 145.00 a month for the dumpster to be emptied two a month. Called to complain and said they would drop the cost back to 79.00 per month if we signed a new three year contract but still getting the extra money for the last 5 months. I said absolutely not. So here we are at the end of the contract and completed all the requirements 60 day notice to end the contract price increase for 6 months and now they are billing me 187.44 to remove the dumpster. What a scam this company is and get rich off the fine print in their contract. Taking advantage of people it's shameful! Don't do it is all I can say about it. The billing department is just the worst. i got my account transferred to them because Republic Services bought out the company I was with. They started charging new fee that I never had before, they said they would repair the account and its been 4 months. But i am over fighting and have just accepted that I will never get these new fees removed. Now to add insult to injury, they replaced one of the dumpsters to one that says their name on it and charged me 200 dollars. I never requested it and i was never informed. Just woke up one day and there is a new dumpster and next day a bill for 200.00. This is one of those big concolmerate companies probably owned by a private equity firm whom does not give 2 s**ts about this customers and you will be told anything on the phone by staff, but it will never actually come through. read more

If I ran my business like Republic runs theirs, we would be out of business in a week. Absolute zero communication, they literally never come close to meeting a deadline for a dumpster removal that they agreed to. I've been completely dependent on them picking up a 40 yard container for a project we are working on where I have a piece of equipment that cost $200 a day. I've now had to rent this equipment for an additional 12 days because republic will not come and bring me a new dumpster. If we did not have a National account with them I would fire them in a heartbeat. read more

They have been sending me late payment notices for the last 4 months, charging me late fees I have been asking them about the auto pay they answered "not my department". After they threaten me about collections I have talked to their accountant found out that the auto pay has been set up 4 months ago. I begged her to put in their call notes because no one know what is going on including the sales manager who is in charge of my account. If I didn't talk to the accountant I will not able to find out the auto pay is done. They have terrible corporate culture there and never care about you until non payment which is also one of their mistakes. read more

Been with Republic for over 3 years. Talking to URSULA , one of their OKC managers - Ive had resolved issues for over 14 months with 1. Bad communication - Long hold time and never reach a manager who can properly remove my billing errors. 2. Very regular missed trash pickup resulting in $88 overage charge ( told by the customer service mange that it can be charged if the lid is open because of one piece of cardboard lifting the lid) 3. Contracts that do not protect the customer - Only protect the account manager ( a person you can never reach) 4. I got overcharged for 15 months on a missed pickup up of the old container at an office location I sold) I was told by the customer service that it was never picked up - the new owner said he had the same exact problem with Republic so he told them to pick up the container which they never did - its still there to this day charging my credit card) 5. They can only credit back 3 months of the overcharge ( apparently according to my fine print on the contract) 6. On-hold systems kept me on hold for over 30 minutes each time regularly - especially when you select "billing questions) Honestly, this seems like another corporate ran machine that thrives on tricking people into getting into contracts. Im going to work with a local small business that has open-top trash cans and better customer service without a contract. read more

After 3 yrs we decided to stop services with Republic Trash service due to the fact that we never use them. They just told us they charge you a 6 month fee after you cancel the services. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Never use these people unless you plan on never stopping services. read more

I give this company a big fat NO STARS. Our business has been waiting 24 days from (the initial request) to have our trash compactor emptied and it still has not been completed. I have spoke to multiple CSR reps and Supervisors who have assured me they would get it taken care. All they have given me is the run around and nothing has been done. Every time I ask to speak to the GM or Operations Manager they say I will have them call you back. Our company has been a customer for 21 years now and that doesn't seem to matter to them read more

I'd give a half star if I could. Asked them to pick up my trash over 4x in the last 2 weeks. I pay for 2x a month but it only got picked up 1x. Was promised the trash would be picked up on more than 4 phone calls but never got it picked up. I was also told there was no issue with my dumpster and there's no reason my trash shouldn't be picked up.....After the 4th failure to pick up, I finally called corporate and made threats to show up at the OKC office if it wasn't picked up. I was told Dec 6th is my scheduled pickup date....THANKS A LOT FOR MAKING ME WAIT A MONTH BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO ATTEMPT TO PICK IT UP. I bet $100 my trash will still be here this morning. Horrible service, Bad company , company is based in Indiana. To reach okc office you have to do numerous phone tags , then they very rarely call you back. Trash service is very iffy, most times they don't pick up, then you have to pay extra for pick up on non service day. Went with another company, now they won't pick up their dumpster. read more

They don't deserve any stars! Our pick up days are Thursdays, we're lucky if the show up on Saturday, sometimes the following Monday!

They gave us a giant dumpster 18 yard with wheels installed and expect me to roll it down hill to the curb. Have some freaking common sense before they put it into real plan. The giant dumpster hit our fence and broke our retaining walls. They never fix it just gave us a few month discount. Then raised the price again in less than a year. When I ask to discontinue the contract, they ask me to send in hard copy letter to their mailing address. Who does that now a day? Even the government does application electronically. The drivers do a fantastic job however their customer service department and website are terrible. I went on their website last month to log into my account to make my payment. The website only allowed me to pay my outstanding balance. I thought I'd made my full payment which would have brought my balance to zero. They ended up deducting less than I had submitted for payment leaving me an open balance that intern caused my account to be suspended with an additional "suspended account fee." When I called customer service the rep ended up more confused than I was and consistently talked over me instead of letting me finish my sentance. She was absolutely no help. Then without warning or notification my monthly service charge increased $15.00 a month. The customer service rep had no explication and had to transfer me over to a consultant. After waiting on hold again I just gave up. Anyone looking for trash service for your home really need to check around. This company puts you on a 2 year contract which automatically renews any time you adjust your pick up requests. A real disappointment. Not with the drivers just the corporate personnel. read more

Terrible CUSTOMER service, I own a business and now for 2 weeks in a row they have not dumped my dumpster. Said they did showed me a image, but could have been of anywhere. I was told 2 days a ago it would be done Monday and that my rep would be calling, well no call and no dump. Then I was told they would be there in one hour, 3 hours has came and went, then I was told the truck broke down and who knows when it will be here. I am having a HECK of a time dealing with this company! I have to contact them about a missed pickup it seems like every week. My Oklahoma City rep is Shella B. and I have left her about 25 phone messages and emails about other things since December and she has never called me back once. I still have to give the company three stars, but am happy to report that their guys in Oklahoma City made a very big effort to work through our differences. Those guys and their efforts deserve a five star rating. As for their corporate mentality at the home office, I just can't excuse their total lack of concern or service. Case in point: The dumpster swap wasn't according to plan. First, it rained and that made the trip out too unsafe. I get it. We are on dirt roads and I would have made the very same decision if I didn't think I could safely make the delivery. When the driver did pick up the dumpster, he just took it and kept it. We figured that we would get our replacement in a day or two. A week later, we called the local office. There had been a mistake. Even though we were set for a swap, our dumpster was removed for good. Once the local guys found out about the mistake, they were on it and had us a replacement the next day. That's the Republic we're used to working with. Back at the home office in whatever state the call center is in...we'll, I've already written a novel about that so I won't beat a dead horse. I learned my lesson. If you need help, get the guys who work locally. They will do anything they can to help. read more
