This is THE WORST company in the world. If you have a choice. Pick another trash service. Charges you when no service provided. All through covid charged us but never picked up the trash. We requested a special pickup of our 3-yard dumpster. I called in this request on Monday, September 30, 2024, and it was scheduled to be picked up the next day on Tuesday, October 1st. On Wednesday, October 2nd, the dumpster pickup still needed to be completed. They finally picked it up today, Thursday, October 3rd with a white rental dump truck, not the normal Republic garbage truck. We had placed a black bag of garbage on the dumpster lids to prevent any papers from being blown out, as the dumpster was completely full. The driver who came to do this pickup then proceeded to place the dumpster back down on top of the black garbage bag and a white garbage bag. We are seniors living here and we cannot pick up bags of garbage that get lodged under the dumpster! See the photos attached. read more

I give 1 star because I can't give less. Their service is awful. AWFUL! We live next to the highway and we were told our trash won't be picked up unless its next to the highway. On the asphalt. When i asked who would be responsible if a vehicle hits it I was told we would be. They won't get out trash unless the bin is on the highway and we are responsible if it gets hit....our garbage often goes 3 weeks at a time without being picked up. Gross read more

Once again they have failed to pickup our garbage on the assigned day and as of 5 pm have failed to call to give us any reason for the failure or provide a time for the pickup to occur. This is an ongoing problem with them. They are not worth the money and time and only hang on to customers most likely due to our remoteness from the county dump. read more

I'm not surprised at all that this business is only rated 2 stars. Well, actually, I am surprised they're rated even that high. We live in Hillside Village of Billings, Montana. Our brilliant neighborhood hired this trash service (pun intended) for garbage day on Wednesday. They won't pick up our garbage if it's filled too high, they won't pick up our garbage if it is not all in the supplied reciprocal, they won't pick up our garbage if they have to get out of their Goddamn truck and actually physically do anything. We get one little dumpster per household. If you want extra, you have to pay additional fees. This is now the 3rd week in a row our garbage has been left without pickup. Obviously, more garbage has been thrown out over the course of 3 freaking weeks. So now, it doesn't all fit in the dumpster, which means, horror of horrors, the garbage employees would have to get out of their truck and put it in manually. So, rather than doing that, they just leave it and allow it to keep piling up. We called to let them know our garbage hasn't been picked up and the lady we spoke with was a total b**** and resolved nothing. Lucky for them, we don't get to choose the garbage company for our neighborhood so, unfortunately, we are stuck with them. But if you are someone who is lucky enough to be able to choose, DO NOT choose this company if you actually want your garbage picked up. read more

I'm torn on a review. Our garbage has always been picked up on time, and the drivers are professional. However, it is impossible to get ahold of anyone. Often times their lines are down, or it will disconnect upon transferring. Very frustrating even you have to talk to individual (for things you can't do online). read more

I am extremely disappointed with Republic. I've used them for my curb side recycling for nearly 5 year. Over the past 6 months our service has been hit and miss. A few times when the recycling wasn't picked up on the scheduled day, I received an automated phone call letting me know it would be the next day. About 6 weeks ago, we got a letter saying that our pick up day was changing. The night before the new pick up day, I received an automated call reminding me to have my bin out by 6 am. That call was a month ago and our bin has yet to be picked up. I've contacted the company and received promises of pick up the following day or two days, with no follow through. The price of their services has now increased as well. I am happy to pay for services, but we are not getting any services at this point. We are cancelling our service with Republic. read more

This company is one of the worst I've ever dealt with. They didn't deliver my container on time and did not explain their products well. They're poor at responding to emails and slowed down my major home project by weeks. They rented my container to someone else while I was still using it! read more
