My father whose older call this company yesterday and was told they would in a few days to set up…read morean appointment. however, the owner called today and spoke to my mother saying he was 15mins away, when she sounded surprised after no appointment being set and then he got smart with her. she tried to apologize and said okay, but he was already in a bad mood. then he showed up at my parents house which is also a well-known established childcare. Not once did this business owner say or disclose to my father how much or if their even was a service charge, until he is standing in the kitchen demanding money and to be paid, when he had only just arrived. my father said I thought you would give me and estimate first, and that's when the owner's entire attitude changed. he instantly raised his voice yelling you knew you would have to pay, my father said you never disclosed that and the owner said I don't have too you should know. that's when I came to try an talk with the owner to figure out the miscommunication and he stated again I'm not leaving until being paid. I told him I am a childcare business and have children present he needed to leave and he said not until I'm paid for wasting my time. I apologized for the miscommunication on my father's part, but he didn't care all he wanted was money for not doing anything. I finally got in to leave the building and go outside so, I could make sure the childcare was safe and children weren't scared. As soon as when all 3 went outside, the owner instantly started cussing us out and yelling, over talking me and wouldn't listen. For the safety of my father and the childcare, I told him if he didn't leave I would call the police, he said fine but I'm writing you up a invoice. even though again this owner did nothing at all, but wanted money. after police were called and and me taking his van photo of him driving off, not waiting for police he then called the business trying to pretend to be someone else then hung up. This entire situation could have been politely discussed and resolved respectfully if this owner would have been professional enough to have a normal conversation about a simple miscommunication of an elderly person, but instead he bullied this elderly man and tried to get money for doing nothing. such a sad world we live in and how people treat or scam older people. I would never recommend this person or company to anyone after this happening to my father and him refusing to leave the childcare and scaring children. just awful.

Outrageously over-priced for HVAC replacement. They do a sales-pitch like that of a bad used car…read moresalesperson. I strongly recommend replacing your system with a different company. We chose Baylor's HVAC instead for less than 1/2 the cost of Brackett plus we got a Carrier system vs unknown (to us) Daikin system.

I called Alstadt to get an estimate on a gas leak repair. They quoted me $140 an hour . One guy…read morecame to detect the leak and was here an hour , then another guy came to repair the leak and was here for 1.5 hours . That is a total of 2.5 hours . The guy could not find the gas leak and proceeded to tell us that we had old rusty pipes and should just probably replace it , so we set up work to be done on it the next day. I called their office to get an idea of what we owed for the work done thus far , so that we knew what to expect for both days. I was told that we owe $600, and i asked why because nothing was done and he couldn't find the leak and she said $250 was added for helium to find the leak ; which we never agreed to or was even told anything about . I said " well i hate to be rude but apparently the helium didn't work, because he could not find the location of the leak " so basically, we just paid all of that money for nothing . I said that i would like to speak to the owner and she said they would take $175 off the bill which in my opinion i still not enough considering nothing was found or repaired. They then proceeded to tell me that we should part ways which i thought was ridiculous considering i only asked to speak with the owner. Another plumber ( 50 years of service ) came out and looked at everything and said they did absolutely nothing but leave you with a hole in the ground and a big bill. He said i would call over there and talk to Chip . I called and asked for Chip and the lady told me to hang on and went and put another lady on the phone who said that he doesn't want to talk to you and neither does anyone else here and do not call back. This is terrible business practice and i will never in my life do business with them. I will pay double or triple the price to avoid this business

rip off! I called to have a simple washer replaced in my kitchen faucet. They told me it would cost…read more250 just for them to come out. They said if it didn't cost that much then they would refund me the remainder. I was fine with that when the gentleman got here, he told me he stripped the set screw and he was going out to his truck to see if he had one and couldn't find one. He went to the plumbing supply place. He said to get a new one. I assumed it was a new set screw, but it came back with a very plain new kitchen faucet. I thought that's cost over $100 even if they do up the price. He finished the job and later I got a bill for $450. This very plain kitchen faucet cost $195. It is not the out. It doesn't do anything fancy it's just a faucet. I've used this company several times in the past they did good work at an honest price. Apparently their values have changed and they've decided to become a company stay away.
