We were pre planning our escape from Galveston following our cruise knowing that two other cruise…read moreships were docking the same day as us. I pre booked with Galveston Shuttle to make sure the six of us had rides to the airport and didn't have to fight for or pay ridiculous prices for Uber or Lyft rides to the airports that service Houston. We had four people going to Houston Hobby airport and two people going further to George Busch airport. They took people to both airports on one motor coach. The coach was in great shape, very comfortable, the driver was safe and it had a great working air conditioner. They loaded your bags and unloaded your bags for you. We just gave them a little gratuity for their efforts. The price for our trip worked out to $56 per couple. The funny thing is that Galveston Shuttle contracts with Carnival Cruise line and you got on the exact same motor coach and Carnival charges this amount per person. Hmmmm, let me do the math for the exact same service. We got out of there pretty quick considering the amount of traffic that was in all the cruise terminals. Be patient while waiting, they stop at each terminal to pick up people and came just a little past time to our terminal. We were ok because we pre planned with enough time to get to the airport with out stress. So, do your self a favor and make sure you give yourself enough time to catch your flight. Don't wait till the last minute and then blame them.

The ride itself was about 45 minutes long, the weather was beautiful, and we circled over many of the tourist and historical spots. And, I could see where a headset would be distracting if someone talked nonstop, I would prefer him to pay attention to what is going on rather than entertain me. I thoroughly enjoyed my ride and would not hesitate to do it again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My best friend and I took the ride and won't ever forget it! As an aside, I would also recommend cruise ship passengers who scheduled too much time to set up an appointment for this. It will be worth it.

I Repeat DO NOT BOOK WITH HIM/or his TRANSPORTATION SERVICE. 1st he was late sending the contracts over. 2nd he charged those going to IAH $45.00 pp from the airport to hotel, $10.00 per person from the hotel to port and $45.00 per person from the port back to IAH airport which is when the s*%t hit the fan...first of all we were supposed to be picked up at 10:30 and of course he was late. Once he arrived in the he pulled up and didn't put the church van in park and almost crushed my husband between the trailer attached to his van and the vehicle behind him. I had to yell for him to stop the van. the van was filthy, with no AC, 2 long cracks in the windshield, the check engine light was on, the temperature read 101 degrees, (which has to be a violation for a service vehicle) then he stated the air would be on in a minute when there was clearly no air. When he cut the AC unit only heat blew out burning our feet and legs during the 1 hour ride. it was so hot one of our family members got faint and almost passed out and i ended up having an ashma attack and had to to go to the emergency room. We had to ask him to roll down the windows to get some relief. By the time we arrived at the airport at 12:30 we had to sprint to catch our flight. In addition, 2 members of our party stayed an extra day and was to be pick up by Herbert Foreman's tranportation service. Which he failed to do, by the the he called them hours later they had already been forced to take an uber to get to the airport. 3rd warning save yourself the aggravation and stress and book with any other company but not HF transportation services. Word to the wise! I wish I could leave -5 for service

About an hour beforehand, the driver messaged us asking us to let him know when we were ready and sent a picture of the pickup location. The picture was of the airport--even though we were at the cruise port, about 70 minutes away. When we asked about it, the driver said he had accidentally sent an old picture saved on his phone and would be there soon. Concerned about making our 11:00 AM flight, we contacted customer service, who blamed us for not booking an earlier shuttle. Had we been picked up at our scheduled 8:30 AM time, we would have had plenty of time. Instead, we weren't picked up until 9:40 AM and didn't reach the airport until 10:55 AM. We missed our flight, paid an additional fee to move to the next available flight, and spent six hours sitting at the airport. Delays and mistakes happen, but blaming the customer when the company failed to pick us up at the scheduled time was extremely disappointing.
