Wow this place was good. It's perfect for a business meal or even just a date night. I went for a business meal and they didn't disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly and it had a special where you got 4 oz of lobster tail. I will return

The salmon is by far at the best I've had. The steak always turns out amazing and staff is always very professional. This place is great for date night.

Absolutely one of the top restaurants in Green Bay. This restaurant decor is warm and elegant. The dark tones of the lighting add to the richness of the place. The bar is beautiful and there's enough room for a comfortable experience. There's different rooms for dining and also rooms for a private event. The menu is very appealing and the drink menu also has plenty of wonderful drinks to try. The prices are on par with many of the other higher end restaurants. Our server Thomas was great. He explained everything we had questions about even gave really good recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant for all your special occasions, as well as just for those nights you want a great dining experience. Stuffed shrimp- the stuffing was made from crab cakes, and it came with a spicy sauce. The sauce had just the right amount of heat. I could've ate this dish all day Rib eye- seasoned and prepared perfectly. Every seasoned bite just melted in your mouth. Filet- loved how well seasoned this entree was as well. Republic knows how to prepare their steaks. Mushroom Ravioli- A-maze-ing!!! Yes I had to break down every syllable. It was that good. Great compliment to the steaks. I hope they would make this as a side option to the steaks. Cocktails- wonderfully made Red velvet cake- Huge piece of goodness

Was a nice experience. Had great waitress, ambience was dark and quiet. The ceasar salad was one of the best we've had! The only negative is that while my tenderloin was great, the visual (lack of any creativity on the plate) was disappointing. We love trying high end restaurants and the menu/prices reflect that. But very odd to get just a steak on a plate. No visual artistry at all. Even just sitting on a few veggies or on a swirl of a sauce would have just made it more eye appealing . Visual is one of the senses to enjoy the experience and the meal. It was tender though!

Republic is our "go-to" steak house every time we are in Green Bay for a Packers game. Fabulous food, great service, nice cocktail/wine selections and wonderful ambiance.

Since my last review I've been back and tried the Sea Bass. Amazing! Might be better than the steaks! So good I came back to celebrate our anniversary... and we both got the sea bass! Can't go wrong at the Republic Chophouse! Drinks, Apps. Entries or Desserts. Gets my vote for Best of Green Bay.

A great place with a great dimly lit dining area. We ate on a Sunday evening. The 8 oz. tenderloin is amazing and cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth. You could cut the steak with a butter knife. Very flavorful. Our server Brian did an amazing job! The chop salad with basil vinaigrette was sweet but not overly. Nice touch. We will definitely return.

We have a new favorite steak house in our new hometown! After trying out a few spots in the last couple months, we found an excellent chophouse with wonderful service. Brian waited on us and he could not have been more personable. I was up for trying out a new wine and he suggested an excellent pinot noir. There were so many hors d'oeuvres to choose from that I asked for help with that one too. And the octopus was amazing! Wonderful tenderloin, great sides, classy atmosphere...the place earned another visit...soon!

Fortunately we were rewarded with a pleasant experience that was light on the wallet (for 2020s standards) and made us fans. Don't be fooled by the exterior/interior as it may give a cabin-like feeling when you're around. The staff are diligent in making the tables clear while getting orders ready. They only had two people working who both were doing the cooking, phone orders, in-person orders, and cleaning/bussing. Talk about a do-it-all crew. Now for the eats. I ordered a bowl of booyah and some cheese curds while pops had a plain burger. My first time having booyah, it reminds me of brunswick stew; tons of chicken, potatoes, vegetables, beans, in a thick tomato broth. Tons of flavor and quite filling, there's a reason why they sell quarts of this for tailgating and the cold stay-at-home days. I would dip my cheese curds in here which were also tasty. Right fried texture with a good cheese pull, dip it in the booyah for some of that salty consistency. Talk about a food-cheat code! My pops burger was cooked a perfect medium-rare and for only $6, was quite a bargain. This will be on the rotation whenever I'm in Green Bay for the Booyah and to try other items like their poutine and fried cod dinners. Booyahkasha!

Once you make it to the table, salads, rolls, and a relish tray are already waiting for you (the cheesy rolls are the best) and the food comes quick. We get the sirloin for two every time, and when I say it could feed a family of 4 with extras, I'm not kidding. The steak is always cooked perfectly. Flavor is great and we always leave with left overs to feed us for the following days to come. Price is very reasonable and one of the reasons we keep coming back! They have ample bar seating and table seating. Decent amount of parking. The elevator right when you enter takes you down to the bathroom, I didn't use them so I'm not sure on cleanliness. The actual restaurant itself was very clean. Service: They have a method set up where you have multiple people assisting you throughout the entire experience. Someone to bring waters, someone to take your order and bring the check, people to bring out food. Everyone was friendly and we had our water glasses refilled once. Food: The food was okay. I'm really torn on the experience because some reviews said the food was over seasoned but ours was a weird mix. Appetizers- The cheese curds were so tiny (they were smaller than my thumb nail) that all you tasted was batter and salt. The lobster bisque was really over seasoned and it needed acid (fresh lemon wedge on the side would have been nice). It was super rich which is expected but it needed something to break it up. I think they tried doing that with the creme fraiche on top but it didn't work. Entrees- I had the lobster cobb salad and my partner had the lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were super tiny so they were still hungry when they left and there wasn't much flavor or filling. The french fries were decent, probably the best part of the meal. The lobster cobb salad was so bland. Whatever dressing they had on the lettuce tasted of just avocado, which doesn't have a lot of flavor. The lobster itself was sweet in flavor but the cooking of it felt off, it was stringy? I ended up leaving most of the salad on my plate. I'm thinking we just ordered the wrong items off of the menu based off of other reviews. But it's quite a long drive for us to come here so I can't see us going out of our way to come back.
