I made an appt a week in advance for a wheel bearing replacement, then I brought the car over the day before. I called at 10am the day of the appt, they hadn't looked at it yet. Called back at 3pm, still hadn't looked at it but they will look at it next. Called back at 5pm (and they close at 6pm), they were just bringing it into the shop. I asked if they had the new parts and wheel bearing to fix it, they said no. Needless to say I just picked the car up and left. This place is a mismanaged, amateurish business.

We experienced the dreaded I-95 breakdown, in Georgia no less...probably the worst place you ever want to be stuck alongside the highway. The AAA-recommended repair center turned out to have HORRIBLE reviews as a total rip-off joint that tries to sell you a new transmission if your headlight is out. The hotel personal at the Richmond Hill Best Western, the dying ground of our car, confirmed the negative reviews, and a manager recommended Wheels Performance Autoworks. I called Pat, gave him the specs to the car, and he had a new alternator for us even before we arrived. The waiting area was comfy and cozy. The people were super friendly. The cost of the repairs was totally reasonable, the hourly rate even less than our own local mechanic. Pat, if you're reading this...thank you.

No inspection. No filling of bug wash fluid. Nothing. Literally just a oil change. Wanna guess how much it was? $138.14.... WTF! A basic oil change with nothing else is $50 MORE than a full service and car wash at the dealership. And the guy walked up smiling like he did me a huge favor saying he took off $5 for military.... Stay FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR AWAY from this place and all others if they all have the same prices. I gave 2 stars because the staff was polite and nice to work with. I understand they don't control pricing. If management reads this, staff was awesome! But you need to talk to your higher up because your pricing schedule is trash and gouging the people of Richmond hill that don't know better.... $150 for just a basic oil change. The owner/manager John literally came to our rescue! Words can not describe the appreciation we feel toward this man! His professionalism, southern hospitality as well as compassion, kind words with some added humor he extended to us, assuring us the problem is not without solution. Reassuring me it could be replaced and his willingness to go above and beyond what a customer would typically encounter, was mind blowing!!! This was nothing less than the BEST experience I have ever encountered. I have worked with many mechanics over the decades. Most are not really concerned about ones situation or the safety and well being of the customer. However, John was compassionate and enabled us to continue on our journey. We were treated like family, I felt like God dropped me on this driveway. Through what felt like a nervous break down, because I did not have many options.
