In my view, the case was drawn out unnecessarily for About two years and left both sides financially drained. From my perspective, the legal fees consumed all of my ex-wife's share from the sale of the house, and she was left with nothing after the case. Once the funds were gone, he ended the representation. The letter to creditors misspelled the estate name and wasn't submitted until I followed up six months later. Names were misspelled in the letter to heirs, and the closing statement contained multiple errors as well. Communication and follow-through were poor. I had to raise concerns about responsiveness more than once, and one document never reached the courthouse until I chased it down. When I disputed the accounting, I was told there would be a follow-up, but it never happened. After the case closed, the attorney's tone became snippy and unprofessional.
