The reason I put finished in quotes is because I told him he was through. there was paint everywhere! on my floors, plantation shutters, crown molding, fixtures, light switches, you name it. his solution was to get it up with acetone! i hired a guy to try to fix it. He re-cut all the house and is now working on painting the trim (some of which required 2 coats because it had so much paint on it). he's also going to have to put a second coat on a couple of the rooms. For some reason, it looks like they thinned out the paint ! I can't express how upset and disappointed I am with the job. Zach admitted that mine was the first house he had done. The worst part is, he thought he did a good job. I have pictures I can share. Maybe he's good at something else, but I would never recommend him as a painter.

We bought a piece of property that we knew was going to be a lot of work. Hilly, extremely rocky,…read moreand absolutely full of 2-3yr old low growth pines on all 30 acres. After speaking with four other companies for land clearing, I called Curtis at Palmetto Land Services to come quote the job. He showed up on time and gave a very competitively-priced quote. The thing that differentiated him from the others was 1) he didn't shy away from the scale and complexity of the project and 2) he could see the vision for the place. Two of the other contractors quoting the job just flat out said "no", and I'm glad they were honest about it because it was a huge project. When Curtis first showed up, I had no idea what the right course of action was due to the tree and vegetation density. Curtis took the time to walk the whole property, get a good idea of the topography, water movement, and soil type of my land. In the first 20 minutes, we'd already made more progress than my first 20 days of walking the land and solo-planning. Fast forward a month, and Curtis has transformed a mess of an overgrown property into something our family hopes to call home for generations. Thanks to him and his crew, we're ready to build our home on an amazing pad that took moving heaven and earth to build. I can't even count the number of large boulders they pulled out of the ground to make the pad stable and compact. Looking back on the project, I wouldn't want anyone else doing this work. Palmetto Land Services has the equipment, the experience, but also the vision to transform a piece of land into something special.
