    EVIDENCE IS ATTACHED ... PLEASE READ …read more... PART 1: I am extremely disappointed and urge all customers to look elsewhere. Please read fully ...... customers need to know. Since my Hunter Douglas blinds arrived in April, 2024 I have made it clear in several emails and in person that it was the wrong colour. Lior told me it's what I ordered - so what could I do? In January, the second of the forth blind started to swing as the fabric isn't rolling correctly on the internal turning rod. Lior was supposed to come and repair the blinds, but didn't show up and didn't tell me he wasn't coming. When I messaged to ask when he's coming, he told me he sent my video to HD and is awaiting their reply, again I raised the issue of the colour. When Lior never returned my text messages, I called Hunter Douglas wrt the repair and the fabric colour. This is when I found out that Lior submitted my order with the WRONG colour. His order to Hunter Douglas had a different colour from that in my quote. I was hoping that this would mean I would finally get the blinds I ordered. However, Lior sent an email stating he will not do anything to rectify his mistake. Customers need to know. PART 2: After continued communication with Hunter Douglas customer service, the associate manager of customer service has offered to resubmit my order with the correct colour at no cost to me. HD has the order Lior submitted and the order Lior gave me - two different colours. Thankfully, HD is a company that cares. Please seek window treatments elsewhere. PART 3: Since April, 2024 I have told Lior that the colour did not match the sample I had picked. When Lior insisted that I had picked the colour, what could I do?! He actually had me believe I picked what I got. Would you want to work with a company that ends up being dishonest? Insisting you made an error when it was their error? Would you risk your money? I am posting this at length to help anyone from experiencing what I did. Why would Hunter Douglas replace my blinds if they did not have the evidence to prove me right?! I have provided screenshots for evidence for your reference. 1) my order - please note colour 2) the colour order on the blinds put through by Lior (HD told me where to find this on the blinds) 3) I limited the emails to two dated April, 2024 with concerns over the colour. There were many many more emails, texts messages & in person conversations wrt colour (note Lior was using the name of the hardware as the fabric - as explained by HD representative) 4) letter from Hunter Douglas to replace the blinds 5) pics of colour I ordered (haze) vs what I received (gray) Furthermore, please do check my one and only Google review that Lior or Alon have noted. There is no Home Stars review. In April when the blinds arrived, Lior noticed spots on them and reordered replacement blinds. That same day he asked me to pay the balance because as he said, "I'm good for it." At least I was smart enough not to pay in full at that time. I did however present the question of the colour and my concern of the dark colour. I have blue walls and I knew I didn't pick the dark grey. Lior made it clear that I ordered the dark grey. As I learnt, if there is doubt trust yourself and not Lior, the salesman who is a partner one day and an employee another. I was made to believe I was wrong, but I was not. I had hoped that our business relationship would let them correct their mistake, not refuse to correct their error. The dishonesty is something I have never experienced before. I'm thankful Hunter Douglas stepped in to make it right for me. Two piece of advice: 1) Look for a company with more reviews to ensure legitimacy of the posts 2) Never pay with e-transfer bc it is like cash. Credit card companies can also step in to help.
