Avoid this company! We hired AH Painting upon a strong recommendation from a friend. We hired them…read moreto do several small projects throughout our house, including painting several ceilings, painting rooms, repairing drywall, installing new drywall, and installing trim woodwork. The work done was highly unprofessional and unsatisfactory. They got paint on our floors, on our furniture and linens, did not remove switch plates before painting, painted a room the wrong color, got wall paint all over trim. Very sloppy drywall repair and completely unsatisfactory trim woodwork. The company has several crews of workers, so you don't know who you will get. After much (argumentative) back and forth with the company, they did send someone to fix mistakes. Thankfully they sent someone different (Danny) who was honest and skillful. He spent 3 full days fixing the mistakes of the original crew.

Several times we had no shows and when they did show up they were usually late. The work that was done was shoddy and needs to be redone. The manager reviewed the work and agreed it needed to be redone. But the new crew that was supposed to do that failed to show up. His response was "I have no control over my employees." If you want terrible quality at a premium price, this is the company for you!

I hired them to pave a driveway, they showed up 3 days late. They proceeded to rip the driveway up when one of their drivers backed into my shed then deny it. They then layer the binder and the top coat. Come to find out they got the wrong topcoat and had to rip the whole driveway up and redo it again! In the midst of me observing, their guys were swearing at each other, using racist slurs, at one point I thought I was going to have to call the cops because 2 of them wanted to fight. Long story short, I had to pay for THEIR MISTAKES. Was told one price and paid a totally different price. Bad communication, employees don't care, won't accept responsibility, the list goes on. Upon talking to other people, rumor has it he also uses his employees for a few weeks then refuses to pay them and puts no trespassing orders on them. He's done it to 3 guys over there, hence why the employees must do a shitty job. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! There are being looked at by DOT & BBB!

The employee arrived after 10:00 AM and told me he would send the estimate after returning to the office and entering the measurements into his laptop. I never received the estimate on Monday, May 19, nor during the entire week that followed or the following week afterward. I followed up again on Wednesday, May 27 in the early afternoon and spoke with a sales representative, who stated that he had my estimate and would send it later that afternoon because he was currently in Boston. As of 9:00 PM today, I still had not received anything. At this point, I no longer want the estimate because I do not trust this company. In my experience, the level of professionalism, communication, and reliability has been extremely poor. If the company did not already have online reviews, I would honestly question whether the appointment was legitimate, especially since the representative spent time inside my home looking around even though I was only requesting a new gutter estimate.
