His expertise has helped me to be one of the employees who has contentedly lasted despite seemingly insurmountable challenges at times. As I am a person who can get anxious or nervous about upcoming situations, guided meditation, relaxation, and positive affirmations have been what Dr. Miller has offered me so that I can enter situations fully present like I want to be. With all that said one of the reasons why I chose Dr. Miller and continue to choose Dr. Miller is because he shared that he trusts that each of us who comes to him has the answer that we need inside of us, and he is there to help us to learn what it is. I appreciate being in partnership with Dr. Miller, as I move through my life trying to be trying to be a more compassionate, caring, loving, present human being. I give him my highest recommendation without reservation.

They do excellent dream, imagery, and primal work to get to the root of the problem. Some of their clients have kept in touch with them for decades, even after they've ended their therapy, moved on in their lives and discovered new paths. Yashi and Belden really engage with each person they talk to. Nitty-gritty details: they work with individuals, couples and families. Depression, illness, relationship issues and major life changes are a few of the areas in which they excel. Yashi and Belden work separately and each does things a bit differently. Talk to both of them to see who fits your style & personality better. P.S. They're fun, too. :)

I think you have to be a teenager to be seen by a therapist here but I think the lay counselors could be accessible to younger clients. They have a three part mental health program, consisting of lay counseling, which is like peer support, professional counseling overseen by licensed therapists, which is difficult to be placed in ( I tried for myself to hire someone but the waiting list was many months out) and then finally counseling offered on a donation-based fee schedule run by the program director or a licensed therapist overseeing their in-house Associate Therapists seeking hours for their licensure. I did not feel like the therapy here is legit for more severe diagnoses or symptom management. This is a faith-based organization as well, so often it's a challenge to be placed or find someone who can accommodate the things you are wanting to work on, which for some people, is highly specific. Therapists here I feel like would never turn anyone away who truly was at the end of their search to find a good fit. Sometimes all you need is a nudge from a compassionate person who is non-judging and non-biased towards your situation. Let's face it, you cannot always call crisis in every situation and you cannot always go to your friends or family for direction. The receptionist was a bit curt as well if my questions became too specific and the phone tag was for real. I would suggest going directly through your insurance or a trusted primary care doctor, or a trusted friend for referrals. Good luck in your search!

Her home studio was inviting and relaxing and very convenient to get to from downtown Grass Valley. Most of the time I get annoyed with prenatal massages because I'm such a deep tissue girl normally that prenatal massages tend to feel ineffective and too gentle for my taste. But Karri's technique, though extremely gentle, was very effective at relieving tension and even helping reduce swelling. By the next day, I noticed a big difference in the amount of swelling in my feet and hands (due to being 8 months pregnant). Yay! I found Karri to be responsive to my needs and had a great experience.

I'm not one to put stock in things like horoscopes but he came highly recommended. What I received was not what I expected (not that I knew what to expect!). He went over my chart, explaining the intricacies of the signs and houses and how they interrelate to one another. By doing so, he explained my personality (things I already know) but then he went on to explain areas of my life in which I need to nurture in order to create more balance and harmony in my life. My reading was very personalized, intimate and, well, meaningful. The office was clean and pleasant smelling and there was plenty of (free) parking. It's been hours since my experience at True Will Astrology and I'm still thinking about it. The only recommendation I have would be for Alan to send an email highlighting maybe 5 main points from the session (since I can't always remember everything and there was so much information given to me!).
