I had a great experience with Renner and with their installation tech Lonnie. He was quick and thorough installing the garage door, stopped to check with us about preferences for small things (where we wanted the opener button, did we need a rope for manual opening put in), and gave us a brief tutorial on using the system at the end. He had a great attitude and was a great communicator. I can't speak to prices, booking, etc... as my garage builder subcontracted Renner--but his price was really good, so I can only assume their prices are good to permit that. read more

So these guys installed two garage doors that I ordered from Costco years ago and did a great job. Today a spring broke rendering one garage door inoperable. Glen came out about two hours after I called them and sucessfully made the repair. This is your go to overhead door contractor people! read more

Bryan and Caleb were fantastic . They installed 3 openers in no time flat . Very professional and knowledgeable Highly recommend

I left a review last week due to poor communication, and I'm updating now. I was contacted almost immediately by the owner, who was very apologetic for the lack of communication when I reached out for help when my garage door would not close. He was very helpful and got a service technician out within a couple of days to check everything over. I appreciate the courteous response and quick service, and I feel so much better about using Renner. read more

For the first time in my history of home ownership across 30 years and three homes, my garage door broke last night. I was standing in my laundry room and heard a huge crash and did not know where it came from. Came to find out - when I couldn't park in the garage and started messing around trying to get it to open. A sticker on the door gave me the name and phone number of the original installer back in 2011 - Renner Garage Door. I called - after hours - and they took my information. Spoke with Veronica first thing this morning...she put me on a brief hold and came back on the line to say her repairman, John, would work me into his schedule and be out some time in the afternoon. I live in the city of STL - where car thefts and break-ins occur regularly for cars parked on the street - so I really appreciated the prompt response time. John arrived earlier than expected. He walked in, looked at it and immediately knew my spring was broken. He had it working within 20 minutes of arrival, and as he worked he answered my myriad of questions along the way. Last night, when I was going through the paperwork left attached to the garage door when it was installed - I discovered that part of the maintenance of owning a garage door is to oil the metal parts - periodically. John said annually is good. I had never known this - and I share it now, for other homeowners who may not be aware. My door is working better than it has in my recent experience. Much quieter and smoother opening and closing. So happy - and the price I paid was fair considering the speed of response and the improvement in the functioning of the door. I will happily recommend John and Veronica and Renner to anyone who needs garage door service. read more

Our garage door torsion spring broke. I made a few calls to see how soon we could get it fixed. I knew it would be a long shot due to the upcoming holidays to get it done before Thanksgiving. To my surprise Renner Garage Door was able to get a technician for the next day at 8-9 am. The next day at 8am, Matthew arrived. He had the old springs out and the new one installed and adjusted in 30 minutes. He even completed some preventative that I had overlooked over the years. The door has never been so quiet. He went on to give me tips on the maintenance that we'll help get more years of service from the door. It is refreshing to see a technician take time to explain what he did. I certainly appreciate Renner Garage Door and Matthew for such a good job. Thank you from an extremely satisfied customer. read more

Needed a $35 part for a DIY repair my on garage door. Discovered Renner was about a 20 minute drive from my home. Although a small purchase, I was treated like I was making a large purchase. Appreciated the prompt response to a problem with the garage door. The service tech was able to take care of the problem within the initial thirty minute window, thus avoiding additional charges... really important to us on fixed incomes. This was the second call in two years for two different issues, and we were very pleased with the service both times. read more

I spoke with Asheley, and told her my problem. Worker came out for spring issue, that was not communicated over the phone. Worker came to the home quoting a entire different price. They charge double one company charges 85$ a spring, they charged me 175$ for one spring. Had a conversation with Asheley over the phone after worker came to the home. She showed no remorse, and did not even apologize for taking an order she knew that they did not complete or give a quote for. Horrible services, no discount for the misunderstanding on their part, plus a double charge, horrible customer services. I was also informed by her that's fine if you do not want to use again. Bad experience, would not recommend again. read more
