Far too expensive. A few days after getting their quote, I got a quote on ProVia Endure windows from a large company...and it was 38.5% lower than Renewal By Andersen (nearly $17.000). That is a staggering difference. And the ProVia Endure line is not cheap...but Renewal By Andersen is not reasonable. They oversell the quality and value of their product. Renewal By Andersen also pulled the sales tactic of "this discount is good for just today...but maybe my manager will extend it a few days". I do think they have a good product and that the salesman gave a good presentation. read more

I wish this company's representatives (today it was "Joel") could read a no soliciting sign. Today, for the 3rd time, they ring my door bell (three guys, two in yellow reflective vests). Of course, they woke my wife, who was taking a nap at the time. I have a "NO SOLICITING" sign on my front door, yet they ring the bell, soliciting me. Do your people not read English? Do they not understand what the sign means? Should I put up a larger sign? Should it read something else (like maybe go away, especially if you're Renewal by Andersen)? Maybe they think I'm a new homeowner (this is a transient society), even though I've owned this home for over 30 years. I'm tired of being solicited by the same business over and over. read more

Paid an insane price for these windows and at 6 months the windows leak air and the sliding windows won't latch closed. Service came out, hammered a sliding window shut and told us "dont open it any more". Warranty? Not honored. read more

If I were just reviewing the windows, this review would have had 5 stars. The windows are awesome and the crew replacing them did a very professional job. Once they finished they cleaned up and left no messes. My problem is that I didn't get the finished product I thought the salesman sold us. I expected to see the woodwork around the windows sanded, stained and varnished. When I called the sales office in Omaha I found out the the salesman was no longer employed and that they don't finish the woodwork but they have someone that will do that for them. I guess it's buyer beware, so I am putting this out there for you all to know not to assume as I did. read more

We ordered a Bay window in June of 21. It is now 3 January 2022, and we still have no window. It was scheduled to be installed on 5 Jan, and that has been changed to.12 Jan as the window is SCHEDULED to arrive 5 Jan. To be fair the guy who measured for the window, measured for a BOW window. Which was incorrect. The salesman told me to contact him for problems. I have contacted him several times, and each time he says "what do you want me to do?". Stay away from these contractors!!! It is now 13 Jan, and "the boss, Jim, assured me that the window would be installed TODAY. Surprise, no window. I told him I was no longer interested, and to tear up our contract! The product itself is fine. The troubles I've had stem directly from the installation. This last summer I spent about $70,000 on new windows and doors for my home. First, the financing deal was supposed to be 12 months same as cash- my windows took so long to order/ install that my payment date is June, but my windows weren't installed until August. When I ordered my windows, I very clearly told my sales person I wanted a right hand entry door. This is to ease traffic flow into the house and direct persons to the coat rack and shoe carpet. The detail measurement person changed this and ordered the wrong door. While my husband signed a form saying the measurements were correct, he never had a conversation saying anything about the door entry was changed. We had more than 20 windows replaced and 2 doors, without explicitly pointing out changes there was no way for him to see that a change was made. I am soooo disappointed because I was VERY clear to my salesman that I wanted a right hand entry door. For them not to communicate this is awful. 7 months later, and I still don't have the door I ordered. Now I am constantly mopping and sweeping dirt and muddy footprints from my floor because people are walking around the freaking door to get to the coat rack. Additionally, I've had to have the repair crew come to my house not once, but twice to fix basic things the installers didn't do right. During a cold snap, most of my windows iced over and there were icicles forming on my brand new front door. Then, during the rains a window started to leak in the house. Because it had been leaking for 6 months, just never in the house, we now have damage to our siding and our drywall under the mounding around the window. I am so upset and so dissatisfied that I have told everyone I know looking for new windows NOT to use this company. read more

This product is an overpriced joke! Don't fall prey to their lies and stories. We spent a fortune on this junk and our home isn't any warmer. The sliding door has ice cold air leaking in all around it. The caulking job looks like it was done by a 10 year old and the siding looks like crap. First off. The windows themselves are wonderful. Very nice windows and good quality. However, the installation was less than acceptable in my opinion. The installers were subcontractors and was rude and confrontational. The caulking was sloppy. They were up front and stated they dont pain the trim which I am fine with doing myself, but painting can only cover up so much sloppy. There was also a discrepancy as we apparently ordered pocket insert windows but didnt know that I ordered this. I was looking for a full frame replacement. 2 stars because actual windows are great. 1 star for labor and quality of installation read more

Don't bother calling Renewal by Anderson. Besides getting routed to a quasi-call center for scheduling an in-home consultation, they have a long list of "requirements" - Set aside 90 minutes - They will not take measurements and provide a quotation until there is a presentation - Allow them to bring trainees - Require that all owners and residents meet with their consultants Would not agree to this in normal times. So we're in the middle of a pandemic and they want us to drag everyone out of the house for their "presentation" and bring along additional staff... read more

But last Saturday, I answered the door and your Representative was there. I want to let you know that he represents your company well. He was well dressed, polite, and articulate. He gave me his name, told me why he was there, and politely accepted my "not interested " for an answer so he didn't waste my time or his. I wish I could remember his name. This should be a short review because I did not get passed the marketing genius that answered the phone. I called to set an appointment to get a quote for replacing my patio door. I was told that my wife would have to be present before an appointment could be set - that all the owners, decision makers had to be present. What kind of marketing scam are you running. I have spent thousands of dollars on Anderson products in the past and never came across such nonsense. I am perfectly capable of making decisions and do not need your company to dictate who will be present to get an estimate. My fault, I should have done some research on your company. You just lost my business and the business of anyone I would have recommended. read more

I have used a lot of different window installation groups over the years, having owned properties for the last 20 years. I decided by home needed new windows and thought I would go with the advertised best. They are unfortunately far from that. They are way overpriced for the level of service you get. Their product is not much better than any other major manufacturer and their service is much, much worse. I could never recommend them to anyone I know. read more

Very impressed with how easy it was to work with this company. The salesman was very thorough. On the day of install, the installers were very friendly and had me come look at the windows as they were installed to be sure I was satisfied. The salesman also showed up to ensure we were satisfied and to answer any questions or concerns. Strongly recommend! read more
