Even though I was following recommended diet and taking probiotics along with OTC medications and medication for consumptions---None of those things worked. I asked my gastroenterologist and primary care physician to give me colonoscopy multiple times and they declined saying they don't see anything in my blood or stool test. Every tests they ran came back normal. However, I was having bloating, gas, and constipation issues that pretty much ruined my social and other forms of life. I am not an easy stick - case in point, I got stuck 5 times at my last Labcorp visit. My veins aren't the best. Fortunately Chesapeake has super skilled and kind staff who do amazing work. I've worked with several staff including Julie and Mike, as well as others. All have been professional and kind and are able to get a line in at least on the second shot. This is a huge blessing! I love the mobile services. They are quick and efficient and I feel much better when they're done. Came here with a loved one for them to get an outpatient procedure done. We pulled up to the…read morehospital's entrance and chose the valet parking option, which is $10 with validation from the department you are going to ($30 without validation). The valet attendant, Sherrill, was very pleasant in handling our valet request and wished us a safe visit. We walked in the main entrance,turned left and went up a slight ramp, to the Information desk and were greeted by a pleasant lady who provided us wristbands to go to the floor where the procedure would be done. Once we got to the department, we were checked in and given the discounted parking validation ticket to retrieve our car after our visit. We were called for the procedure within 10 minutes after the appointment time and greeted by a pleasant staff person, who led us to the procedure room. The type of care that was provided was satisfactory and made us feel "seen". The care quality was good as well during every step pre- and post- procedure. All in all, a nice pleasant experience at this hospital, if your insurance covers procedures at this hospital.
