Love going to Renee's art studio. Karen the teacher is amazing. It's relaxed and fun place to learn art. Very reasonable tuition.

One of my favorite horses I painted! It wasn't finished in this picture but it was close:-)

They really nurture and just really motivate the children here. The art work that is done by students here is just fantastic. Michelle and her staff really take their time and gives attention to each student. In addition, Michelle is very quick and prompt and has wonderful communication. They are closed on Wednesdays but their class times and days are very flexible. They even offer a first time class as complimentary, the classes are 1.5 hours and 15mins prior to the class they have a showcase of all the childrens art that they completed that day and they talk about their success, this really allows the child to share what they thought was a success about their artwork. All in all I am very pleased, each student has their own work station, and each student is doing something different from water color to painting to drawing. Each student has their own unique style and Renaissance Fine Art really allows children that opportunity to give it their best. Prices are reasonable. Parking is ample, it's right in the Chi-chi's, Big Lots parking lot which shares with other businesses but definitely no issues with parking. Would recommend! Very pleased!

Most of them do workshops and classes here, in the great facilities. LAAFA is a great resource, and you meet many fellow working professionals in classes here too. If you want to pursue a career in the arts, where you learn the ways of the old masters, and by…read morethat I mean learning how to REALLY draw, how to REALLY paint, how to REALLY sculpt then LAFFA is the school for you. No school now days will teach you how to draw and paint like Rembrant, Bougerou, Ingres, In fact many art schools now days do not teach you the most important concept of drawing and that is that in art learning is life long it does not end with a degree. LAFFA emphasizes that. Furthermore many art schools focus simply on art being just paint splattered on a canvas or some weird as hell sculpture that sells for millions and where the "artist" i.e. like KOONs and Andy Warhol do not even do any work at all. LAFFA is very much like how people back in the ECOLE Beux arts were taught, or how those in the high renaissance were taught, in the atelier style, by the end of one class you will have learned how to truly draw which is the basis of all art! The accreditation, accreditation is a good thing, however it will not mean you will magically teach you how to draw and paint, much like some assume a degree means. no a true artist has YEARS of practice and does not stop because a true artist knows that to be able to truly know that they are good at something, they must remember they always know nothing like the renowned cellist Pablo Casalas once said when he was asked at 93 why he still practiced the cello 3hours a day" i think i am finally improving" that is what you will see here TRUE MASTERS of the lost art of drawing and painting, modern day Bougerou's, Rembrants, Franz Hals, Titian, Ingress etc. Who embody the true spirit of the lost arts which many so called art schools sans Cal Arts and 3 kicks do not teach today. One teacher i highly recommend taking is Rey Bustos, he is harsh, he is firm but his passion will drive you. He is truly an amazing instructor.

Two months into their program--after a cast list had already been posted--they attempted to collect additional payments from already-enrolled families, despite there being no prior contract or communication outlining these supposed fees. They also demanded that students come up with their own costumes, and even threatened to pull kids from the production if payments weren't made. Anyone with even basic theater experience knows that threatening to remove children from a show two months into rehearsals is outrageous and unacceptable. Everything--fees, responsibilities, schedules--should be communicated clearly in writing upfront, not sprung on families halfway through. They added extra rehearsals last minute and tried to charge for those too. After enough parents complained, they finally took over the costume responsibilities. But again, none of these requirements were mentioned at sign-up. While we're incredibly grateful for the teacher (who was absolutely wonderful), the owner and office staff were completely disorganized, unprofessional, and frankly, rude.Mothers were berated for wanting to sit in on their young children (ages 6+ and up), being mic'd under their clothing and were screamed at for wanting to monitor that because it was "closed rehearsals" It gets worse. After deciding we'd never return due to the awful experience, we noticed a charge for another session we never signed up for. When we kindly reached out to have it removed, we were told that "Musical Theater" was now considered a year-round commitment, even though: * That was never communicated. * Our child hadn't attended in months. Did they call to check on our child's absence? Nope. They just charged us. In this economy. Don't be fooled by their polished social media. Behind the scenes, it's just smoke and mirrors. On one performance day, they called the cast for a 3:30 arrival time--and no adult staff showed up until 5:15.Fourteen children were left under the supervision of just two volunteer moms, and the office admitted they "forgot to call" the rest of us to let us know that no one would be in attendance, nor that they needed help. Just kids expected to be left alone. Left to run their own warmups and choreography. So not only are they charging families absurd fees without consent, but they are also putting children's safety at risk while being paid to not even show up. It reeks of: "I want to run a children's theater company but have zero idea how one is supposed to be run--and I'm counting on you not knowing either." Spoiler alert: I was raised in one of the top youth theaters in the country. This ain't it. Just chaos.Chaos, dishonesty, and a complete disregard for families. PATRONS BEWARE.
