Rubi was a sweetheart considering I was a few minutes behind from being a little lost in the area (new resident!). She immediately greeted me with a smile and offered a beverage prior to our appointment, was a doll/extremely personable throughout, and was patient as I shared with her on which color I felt would work best for my touch up. I'll be sticking with her as my hair stylist/colorist go-to for such wonderful service, but my results turning out perfect was the cherry on the top! Thank you Rubi!

Communicated via text for over week responding to endless directions on the required $50 deposit via Venmo which I processed. Submitted photos as requested of current style and expectations. Completed the pre-arrival form. All this only to be asked to move my appointment to 3 other slots that don't work for people who work normal office hours. Salon cancelled my appointment, then says they can't Venmo me back my $50 deposit as only the owner has the account. Directed to call salon to process a credit card refund. Don't we all love the risk of giving businesses our credit card details over the phone? All this effort to have zero services executed. What a joke. Stay away.

I called and got a consultation set up where we can discuss the different options and what I would like to ultimately have it look like. I didn't realize there WERE so many options. We decided on tape-in extensions and Jessica (THE BEST) advised to color my hair to match them. She picked out a gorgeous red color for me and was very helpful consulting on everything. I've had them for about a month now and LOVE them. I can't feel where they were put in, they look very natural and I treat them like I would my own hair. In addition, I've heard Jessica's passion of working with people who have medically induced hair loss from various conditions. She has many solutions I was not aware of and does a great job describing each option, the pros and cons to them and what would be the best solution given the condition and person. I went to Susannah to go from blonde to silver. My hair was dry, but certainly not damaged. About 5…read moreminutes under the dryer I felt the foils reach an unsafe temperature and I could feel my neck burning. I removed the cap and offending foils and waited for Susannah to return to back. After nearly 20 years of foils, I've never had an experience of being burned under a dryer. The appointment continued and she didn't say anything about damage. The appointment continued and when finished it was not what I had expected nor envisioned. I was told it was due to the color I had when I came in except I had almost no color as I was highlighted and toned only. She told me I needed another appointment to achieve the desired results. The next morning I rinsed my hair (cold water only) and could hardly pass a comb through the area where the foils over heated, which is the majority of the back of my head. I politely texted and told her the situation and that I was pretty unhappy she didn't tell me about the damage so that I could have adjusted my haircut accordingly. I offered to pay for the haircut but asked for a refund on the color. She told me no - that she provided labor and products and I could come in for alterations but there would be no refunds. She also admitted that her dryer was new and she didn't realize or know how hot it gets. She asked me if I would ask my dentist for a refund. I told her again that I don't have the time or childcare to come in, asked once again for a refund and even said how I want to end this on a good note and be able to close the transaction out with a positive review. I was told not to "threaten" her with reviews. In actuality, that wasn't my intent whatsoever. I work in social media and know how important customer service is to small businesses. I was hoping that a bumpy transaction could have been rectified and I could have said "hey this happened but it ended up being okay in the end because of great customer service." I was also told that she has a no refund policy. Policies have exceptions when you ruin someone's hair. I guess in these circumstances you can burn someone's hair off their head and have zero accountability. Really pathetic customer service.

She transformed me from a tragic ombre to a blonde…read morebombshell;)..I love how Suze took the time to explain the process, what I should do to maintain my hair and what not to do. Because my hair was damaged at the beginning we had to cut off at least 4inches but she also applied deep conditioning and restructuring treatment to help my hair take on the blonde without further damaging. My hair looks and feels amazing because of her! Im glad I did my reaserch and found Suze! I will definitely be back for more!! P.s. the after was achieved after two sessions of lightening and care.
