Having the parking lot right next door and a spot for drop off makes it great for anyone that is attending an event. Attended a beautiful wedding at the Binghamton Club several months back. The venue has a pretty…read morelarge parking lot so we had no problem grabbing a spot which was great. Once we entered, we saw the beautiful interior and were ushered into the cocktail room. Since it was a Muslim wedding, there was no alcohol which they accommodated very nicely. I helped myself to a lovely Shirley temple which was just as good as I remember from when I was a kid. During the cocktail hour, the staff walked around with little snacks and hors d'oeuvres. When we asked questions, they were very polite and even made some jokes with us when we initiated. When it was time for the main event, we were directed to our seats. The main room is beautiful with high ceilings, a nice dance floor in the middle, and some chandeliers. We were offered a few menu items which we Pre-selected before we arrived and then we confirmed again with our waiter. When it was time for the dinner, they somehow were 1 plate short which they said they'd fix by cooking another one for us. I volunteered to be the one to wait for the new meal. It wasn't a major problem, but it was a little strange to me there were no backup dishes ready to go in case of something like this. When the food finally came out it was pretty good, just a lot longer wait than I thought. The servers were very apologetic about it, but it really wasn't a major problem for me as I had eaten so many hors d'oeuvres. Overall, a beautiful place for a big event!

Super fun and creative photographer!…read more I met Kristen through a friend and was able to snag her for a quick shoot while she was in town that would serve as a Mother's Day gift for my mom. My mom had let me borrow her beautiful vintage wedding dress, and while I had it, I decided it would be fun to style my hair with flowers and take pictures in it by the water. The pictures turned out gorgeous thanks to Kristen's creative style of shooting and easy direction. I had a photo book made with the pictures and my mom loved it! She also gave me a great deal since the session was smaller and would be more of a gift than a wedding/family session. I had a great experience with Kristen and would not hesitate to book her again!

The wedding ceremony was held out back and the space was pretty small, half of the guests had to stand in the back, but the ceremony was short so no one seemed to mind. There was an open bar with mixed drinks and bottled beer. They didn't have any pale ales or anything too nice, but I was happy with Yuengling. The bartenders were quick, and the rest of the staff was pretty good too, no real complaints. They did forget to set one of the spots at our table but when it was brought to their attention they immediately got another chair and set up a plate and silverware. The food was just alright. For the horderves weren't really anything I liked, they had some shrimp and some mushrooms. They also had a cheese display and I definitely got down on that, and I liked the horseradish dip they had too. For the main meal I had the chicken caprese. The chicken was cooked good, not overdone at all and plenty moist, but the breading on it was kinda soggy and got lost in the mix a bit. The salad they brought out was good too, I dunno if the itallian dressing was made in house or not but I liked it. I didn't eat the green beans but the twice baked potato wasn't anything too special, seemed like it needed something extra. Speaking of something extra, the tables didn't have any salt or pepper shakers, which definitely would have made things a little better. The cake they had was really good, best I've had in a while, but I saw that it was brought in in a wegmans box, so it wasn't made in house. Overall I'd rate this place a 3.5 out of 5. It was nice inside and I had a fun time but the food could have been a little better. The food was still better than the food I had at a wedding at the double tree a few years back, and the bartender there was lame. For a downtown catering venue this place is a lot better than the Double Tree.
