This real estate company is very unprofessional and inappropriate regarding property management. I was a resident within safety harbor and loved the charming feel of a little town. My children and I felt at home with the exception of the constant issues with the rental. When any issue was addressed with Jonathan Trieste he would not handle the issues at hand and would advise that he doesn't really handle concerns yet he would say to come to him when matters needed to be handled. My children and I were forced to live in conditions with rats, roaches, and a constant roof leak that lasted for over 6 months. Rats, roaches with young children and after months of complaining for deplorable health living conditions which violated health codes, the solution they provided was deadly arsenic throughout the rental. I have loving dogs that could have been killed as a result and asked for a different solution so that my children and dog would be safe. I explained that I truly wish to have these issues addressed so that I can enjoy my stay in safety harbor. Mr. Trieste would again state he doesn't handle these matters and needs to be addressed with the owner whose information he would never provide despite numerous requests to be provided. Instead he would then say he would speak to the owners and I would have to beg him for an answer without a response. I unfortunately was forced to leave but was still charged my deposit which should have been refunded based on the living conditions I was provided and my efforts for a resolution were futile. I even showed him pictures of the rat that died in my couch and the rat feces that were throughout the rental plus the numerous live and dead roaches. It is very disappointing that a single mother who wished to resolve this while living in the rental was treated with such disingenuous behavior and forced to keep her family safe by having to move out of a rat and insect infested rental that this rental management real estate company chose not to manage properly or humanely. read more
