She hardly looked at me when I came in and Asked if I wanted the "same thing as last time" when 1) I've never been to her and only been to the Warner Robins location once and 2) it was over a year prior when I went. So no, I don't want the same thing. She also asked how many units I normally get and when I told her she said "oh, wow". Terrible bedside manner and incredibly unfriendly. He patiently listened to her medical history and current lifestyle situation and proceed with the appropriate level of care - not too aggressive nor too conservative. I was immediately relieved of my probably naive concerns about my mom's situation not being 'glamorous' enough for a plastic surgeon. Dr. Groves seems like just the right plastic surgeon for that "make me look better/rested but not 21 years old" so says the nearly 50 year old daughter of the real patient!!! Botched: Dr. Groves read another patient's medical file and…read moreinserted the wrong size implants. Prior to the surgery, I authorized Dr. Groves to implant one of three sizes. I did not authorize him to deviate from the operative plan. During surgery, Dr. Groves reviewed the wrong patient's file. He then inserted a size far different from any authorized size. In the operative note he wrote, "I felt this was the correct size for her." Six days post-surgery, at my first post-op appointment, Dr. Groves acknowledged he had reviewed a different patient's file. His exact words were, "I looked at the wrong note. I looked at the wrong sizes. So, it was all on me." Because of his malpractice, I had to recover from one botched surgery knowing I would have to undergo another surgery and painful recovery. I am happy to discuss my experience with anyone considering undergoing a procedure.
