Instead he is incapable of relating to real people with real problems because he has never wanted for anything in his life. He doesn't try hard because he doesn't have to. He allowed my ex to violate the court order while the divorce was pending on at least 6 occasions, as well as lie in court and withhold income documents. My ex took My vehicle after he blew the engine in his by not putting oil in it and made no payments for 6 months and removed me from the health insurance policy while the divorce was pending and Ben did nothing. These things caused me great hardship including homelessness and Ben always seemed amused at my struggles. He attempted to prepare me for trial in the courthouse hall 10 minutes before court. His answer to that is to say it didn't go to trial... but in all honesty... no one knew whether it would go to trial or not until we got into the courtroom! He charged me quite a bit to prepare for trial but there was very little preparation. I asked multiple times for a detailed bill as he wanted large sums of money before each hearing usually giving me very little notice to come up with it in order to be represented at hearings and trial. But my requests were ignored by Ben and staff. Ben finally files contempt charges at my insistence and then doesn't follow through he withdraws. He always was so concerned with what my ex could and couldn't afford. I have lost a lot of money to my ex and to this law firm who barely represented me. If you want someone who will fight for your rights under the law... Ben is not the man for you. He takes a very passive approach.

Attorney Megan McGee represented me throughout a one year, high conflict family court case. During…read moreevery single step of the process she went above and beyond and gave 110%. Her knowledge, expertise, and professionalism is incomparable. She has a passion for the services she provides, and made me feel like my case truly mattered to her. I never once felt like I was "just another case." She took the time to look through extensive documentation and understand both myself and my circumstances on more than just a surface level. She was always professional yet supportive at the same time. Megan made herself highly accessible from day one providing several ways to reach her with an amazing response time. She consistently kept me updated on all aspects of my case, and rarely took longer than a day to respond to every single question I had. She always made me aware if there was even a possibility of a delayed response time. Even throughout her maternity leave she put forth her best effort to assist me. I was never left feeling like I was hanging, alone, or in the dark about anything throughout the entire time we worked together. The technological tools she uses are top-notch and user friendly making every part of the process extremely smooth and efficient. She also provided different options to fit individual needs. I could always count on her to get what needed to be done in more than a timely manner while also paying attention to every detail and leaving nothing out or incomplete. To say Megan is on top of her game is an understatement. Family court is stressful. A high-conflict family court case is extremely stressful. Having Megan as my attorney made this experience as least stressful as possible. I always had complete trust in her work and felt a great sense of ease when handing things over to her. She always put forth her best effort to work toward my goals in the case, but never gave me false hope either. She was always upfront about things that could possibly happen while remaining hopeful and giving everything her best shot. We had several physical court dates. Her professionalism, organization, knowledge, and no-nonsense approach shone through in the courtroom. I truly feel like I grew as a person by working with her. The bottom line, in my opinion, is that Attorney Megan McGee is one of the top in her field in the area. I feel my case may have turned out quite differently if I had worked with anyone else. I would recommend her to anyone any day, and should I find myself needing legal assistance again, I will be contacting Attorney McGee.

I was recommended Mary Losey, but her office and services turned out to be awful. I am incredibly…read moreunhappy with her service and ability. She was my lawyer for my divorce and child custody. She never seemed to update her information whenever I gave her contact info for my ex and she and her secretary were somehow never able to contact him or successfully mail anything to him even though I was able to do so through the information I gave them. They were incredibly slow about filing paperwork and often forgot to file paperwork or said they had filed paperwork that I later found out they had NOT filed (which has led to a host of problems three years later). They were not helpful or supportive except in the very first meeting when they made it seem like they knew what they were doing. I lost that confidence with every passing meeting, but I was desperate to get divorced and away from my abusive marriage. I thought the point of a lawyer was to make the process easier, but it ended up being far harder with a lawyer messing things up and not doing things when they said they would than it would have been if I had done it myself. I was unhappy within the first 6 months of working with Mary Losey and her office. It took over a year to get a divorce, but by the end of the process I felt like I was too far in to find a new lawyer. I didn't realize she would cause reschedules and drag the process on as long as it did by supposedly never being able to contact my ex even though HE EVEN TRIED TO CONTACT HER to get things moving along. She charged me over $500 to split the Roth account (she suggested I take on the expense of it because she was certain he'd fight that and make it take longer, even though she also suggested I work with him to lower his child support so that he could pay for travel expenses to see our child (he's never once paid any travel expenses, of course, and sees her just as rarely as he did back then)), but then she never split the Roth and I've never recovered that money. She said the time ran out and I'd have to pay another $500 to split it in addition to her hourly charges and I really couldn't afford it at the time. My ex claims that he even sent her the notarized and signed form back for the Roth but she claimed she'd never gotten anything back from him. I know her secretary outright lied to me a couple times, so I'm more inclined to believe my ex than her or her staff, which says a lot. Please save your money and find someone who can actually do their job, especially for the exorbitant prices she charges. I went into debt for years because of her incompetency and to keep finding out years later how much she screwed me over is upsetting. It's a mistake I've paid for many times over and I don't want the same for others who can't afford such incompetence.
