It has been 6 years since we purchased the machine and just recently had an issue. Speed Queen told us they have no record of our extended warranty, The salesman we bought the machine from is gone, but the young man on the phone said there was probably a paper on it that we should have filled out. Speed Queen and Johnson's acknowledge the fact there was a super warranty for the machine in that year , however, no one has a record that we have the warranty. There is no way to find out what happened to our record. According to the salesman we are out of luck, there is nothing they can do. Had we been given material to extend a warranty you can be assured it would have been filled out, but with 6 years gone by it "oh well, nothing anyone can do". Buy an appliance from people care about their customers and who you know have your best interests at heart.

The GE range is a discontinued model that was probably installed when the house was built around nineteen years ago. So it's old but it suits the look of my kitchen. I didn't like the new ranges on the market so I decided to contact Henlopen Appliance hoping they could service the unit. The person I spoke with confirmed they service GE ranges. I called on a Friday and was able to get an appointment for the following Tuesday. The technician, Trevor Vest showed up on time and once I explained the problems I was having with the range he got right to work. He tested all the burners then made the necessary adjustments to get the burners working properly. The whole experience from making the appointment to interacting with Trevor as he made the fixes was enjoyable. He even gave me advice about using our front-loading washing machine. There is no doubt in my mind who I will contact if I need help with an appliance.

My dryer's heating element failed, so I called this company for a Saturday service call. The…read morerepairman told me he had "used the last heating element the day before" and did not have a replacement. The dryer was not repaired, but I was given an estimate of over $500 to replace the part. I waited several days for follow-up about a new part. In the meantime, I researched alternatives and was referred to another repair company, which completed the repair for a total of $239, including parts and labor. I attempted to explain this to the original company, disclosed the actual cost I paid, and asked why their estimate was more than double. Instead of addressing the pricing discrepancy, the company demanded a $170 "service fee" for showing up without a part and leaving the dryer unrepaired. The company is now threatening legal action to collect this $170. In my opinion, this company's conduct has been unethical, unprofessional, and not in the best interest of the community. If I were a repair person, I would have checked my vehicle inventory for the appropriate part. If I did not have the part in stock, I would have called the customer to explain and reschedule.  I am really struggling to understand why you are being so stubborn about my complaint and are completely failing to understand my perspective.

We had another home inspection company, that several of my neighbors used, come 2 months after Eagle Eye. The second inspection found 21 additional items, 19 of which were deemed significant and some were also safety concerns. Based on this second report, the Builder came back and made required repairs. This was brought to the attention of the owner of Eagle Eye, but there was no follow-up on his part (i.e., no offer to reimburse part of their inspection fee or anything). Based on this experience, I would not recommend using their service.
