The guys who came to do the moving were nice, lovely, attentive, polite. As soon as I pointed out some of the things were fragile, they told me: "We treat everything as fragile" and that's true! Not everything was packed properly by me but it all arrived perfectly intact. They took exactly the time I thought to load/unload, they showed to me how everything was secured in the van, then I went on the van with them to the new destination. They even wanted to place the boxes in separate areas in my new flat! No need really, it's a studio flat... All they asked for afterwards was to quickly wash their hands, I even offered them a drink (it was bloody hot and still they didn't sweat a bit!) but they kindly refused, off to the next job. Also, they asked me to go and check the van before they left, to make sure they haven't left/stolen anything. I would've paid even double for such a service!

This was absolutely the worst removal company and the worst moving experience my partner and I have…read moregone through. I was drawn in by the low pricing and the quick communication, but do not be fooled by this. On the day we were moving out, there were two other people moving out in my building which we had no idea of and could not have known since we do not know all of our neighbors. We also found out on the day we were moving out that the lift in the new flat building was out of order and the new flat was on the 4th floor - very unfortunate for us, however, we notified the movers right away upon arrival. The movers arrived on time and came up to my flat to assess everything. They began pulling our stuff into the hallway and didn't come back for a while. I then received a phone call from Sienna, who is the manager, saying that the movers couldn't start moving due to the lift being in use and them having to walk "far" because they were the 3rd truck in line in front of our building. Sienna then continued to say that the time was starting even though the movers weren't going to start moving, which was absolutely ridiculous since the movers were doing nothing but sitting in their truck. We had back and forth with Sienna on the phone for about 30 minutes and she wanted to charge us for this, which was totally unacceptable. The movers finally began working at 2:40pm and we finally agreed with Sienna to start the time at 2:30pm. To top it all of, the movers refused to move our stuff up to the new flat due to the elevator being out of service. All they did, was move it into the hallway at the new flat and that was it. We offered to pay more to cover the extra labor and they continued to refuse to help us. The two men, Sienna and the company as a whole showed no compassion for our situation and were the most unhelpful they could be. I learned my lesson that you get what you pay for. I strongly advise that you do use Top Removals for your move.
