R.E.Movals with a Smile not only lived up to all of my expectations but also exceeded them! This is a family run company that has been in the business for about 30 years (since 1982) and their experience is evident in the streamlined & stress-free way they handled our move. From my first point of contact, I was very happy with the company as they responded very quickly to my initial email (within 1 hour of my email on the same day! Fantastic response time!). I was also happy because the response was very detailed, thorough and professional. All of my additional emails were likewise responded to very promptly and answered all of my follow up questions. One of the best things about R.E.Movals with a Smile was that I was able to do my domestic move without having to purchase any packing supplies. R.E. Movals with a Smile gave me all the packing supplies I needed (tape, small & large boxes, wardrobe boxes, bubble wrap) ALL FOR FREE! This was wonderful! The owner of the company personally came out to our home, gave us the packing supplies and double checked to make sure that the quote I got online was accurate (since I was the one that reported what we had to move but he wanted to make sure which was so nice because that way there were zero surprises. The inexpensive quote I was given via email was EXACTLY the same as when the owner came to our home!). When he drove to our home, he also gave us all of the packing supplies since we chose to pack ourselves (for an additional cost they will pack/do everything for you but we wanted to save some money and pack ourselves). I was so happy that all of the moving supplies were free! Considering all of the packing supplies were free, the quote I got from R.E.Movals with a Smile was the least expensive quote out of the many I received! (I did get some cheaper quotes but I would have had to buy all the packing supplies myself and I didn't want the hassle and additional cost of doing so because if I had bought the packing supplies myself, the cost had I chosen another mover would have been more expensive than R.E.Movals with a Smile!) Not only was it the lowest price quote but the company also seemed the most reputable out of all the ones I contacted. As a woman, having trustworthy movers is even more important because I don't want to feel uneasy with strange men in my home. All of the 4 movers, that were on our moving crew, were the most amazing guys. They were all extremely friendly, trustworthy and spoke perfect English (native English speakers). Even though my husband was with me during the move, I would have felt 100% okay if I were alone with any of the guys on the moving crew. This was important to me since I have had dodgy movers in the past and I was so happy with the professionalism, trustworthiness and friendliness of all of the guys at R.E.Movals with a Smile. Also, when we were done unpacking, the owner of the company came back out to our new home and collected all of the packing supplies that we had used. This was excellent because this way we did not have to find a way to dispose of them (although if you want to keep them, you can purchase what you want from them). The move itself was perfect: The crew showed up right on time and got straight to work. They were extremely speedy and this move was very quick which made us happy since we chose to pay by the hour. We have had bad experiences in the past when paying by the hour that the guys would take a lot of breaks to draw out the move in order to make us pay more but there was none of that with R.E.Movals with a Smile! They were very quick and drove straight to our new address and unloaded even quicker than they had packed everything up! The driver of the van knew London very well and he found our new home perfectly! NOTHING was broken, dirty, scratched, dented....nothing! All of our items were delivered in exactly the way they had been in our prior home. This was a first for us because in our prior moves at least one item inevitably got damaged but with R.E.Movals with a Smile there was zero damage. R.E.Movals With A Smile were absolutely fantastic. Initial communications were straightforward and I was quickly able to book a van and a couple of guys to help me with the move of some of our heavier furniture. On moving day, bang on schedule they arrived with a big van and lots of protective cloths which were used to protect more delicate items of furniture. It was comforting to see care taken over wrapping everything up so carefully. Do NOT use 'Removals with a smile' we used them recently for our move and we would NEVER use or recommend them again. The team were over an hr late to start with. they had none of the materials we asked for despite us letting Sam know 2 weeks prior the move. The team turned up looking very tired and the work pace was extremrly slow..which was obviously because we were charged by the hour. Sam ( the boss!!) turned up mid morning and smelt very strongly of cannabis which we found very un professional. The job took over 10 hrs to move a small ground floor 1 bed flat to a street only 4 mins drive away. The original quote was for 400 pounds and they then wanted just over 900 pounds by the end. This firm is not what I expected and I would urge anyone to find someone else for your move. read more

I got four quotes and Handy Moves was the cheapest. The communication with the services team was excellent. They called me the day before the moving to discuss the final details. On the moving day they called me twice, to inform me where the truck was. The movers were fast and efficient. They did not brake anything, and they were very considerate of both properties, they didnt even make a scratch on the walls, especially in the old house where the entrance was very narrow and our furniture too big. The movers dismantled a big closet, and they did not charge me extra for that. The way they had placed the furniture in the van was neat and tidy. They got to the new place very fast, in about 2,5 hours. I am very pleased eith their services. read more
