IF YOU EXPECT ATTENTION TO DETAIL, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. If you expect clear communication, do not hire this company. RUN! My wife and I are nearing the end of a bad experience adding onto and remodeling our home. We hired this company and it has been nothing but a headache. They are now over a month late finishing the job, they have done generally poor quality work. The "supervisor" rarely supervises his own crew foreman or subcontractors, and has just generally made this an experience we would never want to repeat. We have had additions and remodeling done before, one even more extensive than this one for our home in Florida, so we know that we are not just overreacting to a normal situation. I communicate daily with the owner and design manager with little to no response. The last straw was our kitchen cabinets. The "designer" took out a drawer that was supposed to be supporting the base of our cabinet and didn't even replace it with a bottom base. How simple is it to build a full cabinet? One that will last. You can't see the bottom of it in the bogus photos they show of the "plans"... but who doesn't build a cabinet with a supportive base? The bottom moves along the kitchen countertop stone when you open the doors. Our brand new kitchen cabinets will soon be warped. We had to have their horrible stone people come back to cut our master bathroom sinks to be even because they were and inch off each side... they had to lift the island stone and center our farm house sink because it was not centered... and now we have found that the entire stone piece surround our range in the kitchen has the same problem. They attached our pot filler (and told me it was finished) and can't even screw a screw in correctly or use all the holes that are given in the piece it self. They scratched and cracked our brand new cabinets after install in too many places to count. These people can't even center a mirror properly... I'm not sure why I had faith that they could make my windowsill EVEN. If you look at the photo below it's 1.5" higher on the right side. They put paint down the utility sink and flooded our basement, we ended up with a $700 bill for a plumber to come out and give us documentation that paint and compound back up our pipes. All of our new insulation was soaked. They mangled our expensive hall bath cabinet to force the plumbing into the cabinet because they ordered the wrong size. I have videos of this if anyone would like to see photos/videos of this sad excuse of a companies work, I would gladly share so you can save the headache and your hard earned money. Stay away from this company. My family and I will update our review after our experience is completed. I'll post a couple photos of my google review here now... but please go to my google review for more details.

RMC Example 2: Look at this mess. This is finished work according to RMC.

Awful work, lazy crew of below average intelligence coupled with slick sales people make this THE worst possible choice you can make for a remodeling job in Westchester, NY. Pay extra for a top notch firm that stands behind their work. This isn't it. The first thing you'll be told when speaking to these people is that they have a very precise project plan. They'll drag you upstairs in their shack of an office to show you a Gantt chart as a means of telling you how amazing they are at project management. Anyone who has run a business or even a project knows that the chart is not anything -- it's the the actual day-to-day management of the project that counts. I should have taken this as a warning and walked away. I didn't not and here is the consequence: Project Management: If you ignore my advice and hire these clowns, you will be the unpaid project manager. The project manager for our job was non-existent. We never met him and never saw him. My wife was the project manager, coordinating the various subcontractors, hiring the dumpster, coordinating deliveries, etc. Workmanship There is none. Their crew does not seem to understand what a right angle is. As you can see from the photos, they cannot hang a shower rack, a faucet, a light switch or an access panel at right angles. Speaking of access panels they put NINE huge access panels in an 8x8 room. They have no sense of aesthetics or workmanship. In short they just don't care. They seem to have hired a bunch of dead-end losers who get paid no matter what Plumbing and Drywall -- Incompetence doesn't describe... None of their workmen were worth much. I have to particularly call out plumbing and drywall work. As you can see in the pictures, the drywall was so horrible, the painters that we hired had to spend two DAYS covering up their sloppy, slipshod work. How hard is it to cut some piece of sheetrock and have them line up? For remodeling consultants it's really really difficult. Their plumbers BROKE our washing machine drainage tube leading to leaks on the floor of our basement. They incorrectly installed the basement shower. Jerry and their so-called service department were unresponsive. I called in an actual plumber to repair the problem - it took them 10 minutes to fix it. These clowns don't even test their work. Electricity After their electrition got through screwing up our electrical system. I had to hire some actual professionals to get the circuit breakers to keep from tripping and to pass inspection. Thank goodness for Keating Electric. Junk Left Behind In spite of the fact that they insisted that we rent a dumpster, these slobs left 5 bags of concrete, tons of wood and loads of parts and debris in my garage. Jerry and Peter Jerry is the owner. He has no follow-up. He does not stand by is company's work - I reached out to him about the plumbing issue. He did not follow through. All of the behaviors noted above come to the top. The work ethic is despicable. Peter Sikora He's supposedly an "design consultant". He's just an empty suit that is after the most expedient design that will get the team to the next job. He possesses very little creativity, insight or foresight. What's quite telling about these two is that they never once asked for feedback on how the job went - Well here it is, boys. Enjoy. Gimme Gimme The 'foreman' Yuri is a very nice guy. Professionally he's an excuse-making disaster. The one thing he did consistently is aggressively demand payment even though I never missed a payment, he badgered us for checks before they were do and regardless of the trail of fails he and his crew left behind. I was so sick and tired of these people, I just wanted them gone.

As we begin our 4th project in 10 years with Remodeling Consultants - three in our former home and now in our new condo - I was really surprised by a recent disparaging review. Our experiences with RC starting with a complete master bath remodel, smaller bathroom projects, reconfiguration of our basement , laundry room, and a full kitchen remodel have all been exceptional from planning and design concepts through to finish. And now, we are looking forward to working with RC on a kitchen remodel and other projects in our new home. They even came to visit and get a feel for our new home before we closed on the purchase. We're already off to a great start with Charlie Zaccaria guiding us through planning. We have worked with Rick and Jerry Zaccaria would not hesitate and have recommended Remodeling Consultants to others. The proof is in the pictures

Remodeling Consultants has exceeded my expectations when it comes to the remodel of my new home. I recently became a homeowner in September of 2021 and I knew I wanted a fixer upper so I can make my new home something that had meaning to our fresh start. I came across Remodeling Consultants from a google search and I'm glad that I did! The whole process from start to finish was so simple and reassuring. I know when you talk about doing a renovation people seem to get nervous because it is a process and it can be frustrating but I didn't feel that way at all throughout my process with this company. The business is a family owned company and all of them are so nice and they work with you to make your dream home a reality. I used Charlie as my consultant and he was wonderful. He didn't pressure me into making my home something that he wanted it was more of him giving me ideas from what I explained I envisioned, which I liked. He also opened up my mind to designs that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. The owners were also very responsive and their attention to detail was outstanding. One of the owners Jerry always stopped by to make sure everything was on the timeline and I was happy which was one of the main aspects that I liked. They really worked hard to make this a great experience. One of the main reasons why I was interested in this company was because its a one stop shop!! They had electricians, plumbers, and they even recommended a person to paint my new home which was wonderful!!! I wasn't making a million calls and working with different companies to put my home together, it was great everything flowed! The whole process took about 2 months. We completely redid the first floor. It doesn't even look like the same house we bought. My favorite place in my home is my living room because of the beautiful fire place I now have! I LOVE IT! We also remodeled the kitchen and we updated our basement. This year we will be remodeling our master bathroom and I can't wait to work with them again as our experience was enjoyable and super relaxed. I highly recommend Remodeling Consultants!

But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

We are happy we did because we LOVE our new home. We purchased a house that needed interior aesthetic remodeling. Not only did Luigi understood our vision, but he also provided great recommendations that enhanced our ideas. The quality of work was outstanding, communication was smooth, and his price was honest and fair. Luigi and his team were very professional from the beginning to the very end of our project. They would pick up our phone calls immediately or return our calls by the end of the day. Our appointments were productive and on time. Our plans were conveyed clearly, and we never felt our communication was delayed or lost. They provided a proposed price quote quickly and made appropriate adjustments to our written contract promptly prior to performing any work. We were not surprised with any "hidden fees." Luigi always kept in mind that we were working on a budget. For example, he personally met up with us at Home Depot to pick out our crown molding and closet organizers. He did not rush us and spent 2 hours helping us choose the right pieces at the right prices. Our walls and floors clearly needed work to be done. Instead of pushing us to demolish and replace them, which will surpass our budget, he provided alternatives that was cost-effective and still have a beautiful outcome. The project was completed on the agreed upon timeframe. We had a tight timeline and our project had to be finished no later than a certain date. Luigi made sure his team stuck to the deadline. His team were at the site at 8:00 AM and most times would leave late evenings. He even had some work done during the weekends. The result of our project was far more than we envisioned. The craftsmanship of work and attention to detail was exceptional. Luigi and his team made sure to address every aspect of our project. We HIGHLY recommend Luigi and we will definitely reach out to him for future projects.

I was ripped off & subject to attempted rip-offs by 40 companies before I found Acosta. Miguel Acosta, the owner of the company, answered the phone himself. Informative & courteous customer service? Miguel was able to squeeze me in that very day with his protege Jorge, who was also polite & professional. The repair was made on the spot despite the system overhaul I had been sold on repeatedly. Having previously paid $1200 for an "isolation test" that supposedly revealed that both my air handler & condenser were leaking & required replacement, Miguel let me know that there was no leak! I was advised by another to pay for another isolation test in case my pipes were leaking, too. I was quoted tens of thousands of dollars instead of the exceedingly reasonable price to replace a small, but essential part. Last year, I paid for 10 pounds of Freon as a stopgap measure; Miguel sadly informed me that my entire system could not possibly hold that much!
