A serious little 3-floor beauty delight!…read more I am a previous client of No 74 having been in a few years ago for a cut and color, and a very nice Yonka facial. Then I had a baby, found a waxer very close to my flat and didn't return, despite always being very happy with No 74 Hair & Beauty. Life got in the way! And now its finally out of the way, my office is around the corner and we are back in love. I booked in for a few waxing services and was (thankfully) assigned to the lovely Sarah -- who is not only an extremely lovely human, but did a fantastic job getting me in tip top shape with very minimal discomfort (seriously!). The space is GORGEOUS. Clean, well curated and spread over 3 floors. It's beautifully appointed and painstakingly considered. It is a joy to walk through the door, and it gets better once you do! I will certainly return to Sarah for all my future waxing needs as well as for facials, which she also does. Brilliant, just brilliant.

Martin, Sibel and Denis are all very lovely people and they make me feel welcome every time I walk in the door. I've been going to Sibel for my hair for the past 18 months and have been extremely happy with the quality of her cuts and her coloring skills. She's now helping me transition from my dark brown color to my natural salt and pepper in a way that doesn't look too abrubt. I'm so pleased with the results! I'm about halfway there and should be fully natural in about six months. I highly recommend this team.

I felt like a blonde Beyonce strutting down the street after I left. Staff are very inviting, offering drinks and cupcakes upon arrival. Yes cupcakes. They were very thorough when going over what I wanted. I am not very picky, so it was great to listen to their suggestions on what they thought would suit me. As far as my hair, they said they were going to take off an inch, and they only took an inch. Which is almost unheard of when I have gotten my hair cut at other salons. The décor is modern and bright with music playing and a personal tablet at each station. Drinks were also served in mason jars which was a cute addition. I dont have children but there is a childrens play area down stairs which as a mom I'm sure would be great. They have a range of spa treatments too, waxing, mani/pedi, eyebrow threading and eyelash treatments which I plan to take advantage of in the future. If you need a new do or a blow out for a hot date, I highly recommend stopping by.

As a student studying abroad in a different country, finding a hair salon can be a little difficult…read moresince you literally don't know anything lol. So long story short, this mess on my head happened at a salon in the states before coming to London. I knew I didn't want to get color correction from anyone "cheap" or unprofessional since I was scarred from my last experience lol. But at the same time I'm a student so I didn't have too much in my budget for hair. I looked all over yelp and messaged the colourist J's on Instagram (@jay_kay111) literally begging for help. He was sooo sweet throughout the whole process & really took his time explaining each and every step. I felt comfortable trusting him and I could tell that he was clearly experienced with dealing with hair colors. (I also saw some amazing blend work on his ig & I was sold lol) We first had a consulting session to take a good look at my hair, get estimates, and I was able to come in for my hair appointment within the same week. During the consultation, he was honest with me on how much damage my hair would take from bleaching, etc. I liked that he kept my expectations realistic with my current hair color and status!! I bleached my hair, toned it + got olaplex which was essential bc my hair was pretty dry from past bleaching already! The staff at the salon were also all so sweet and kept offering me drinks & checking up on me even though I was fine w my water bottle. The hair color correction took 1 session (6-7 hours ), but jay let me know ahead of time that it should take around that much so I was well prepared w coffee + sandwich lol. I also just got to eat the sandwich while he was coloring my hair so I wasn't hungry or anything. He's also really easy to talk to, I walked out the salon giving him a hug HAHA Overall, a very pleasant experience +professional and friendly staff + reasonably priced (especially with the 20% first customer discount) salon!! I would def recommend it to anyone & have already recommended to my friends. :)
