stay away from these folks: About a month ago, we noted a Zillow listing by Yolanda (Micky) Peterson RE/MAX for 4535 Ironwood Ln, onyx summit with septic tank. We made an offer and it was accepted. Eric Peterson who worked on the cabin reassured us that roof and floor/studs are good. Eric is Yolanda Micky Peterson's husband. Eric was supposed to meet us for inspection but never showed up. while signing escrow papers, we hired an inspector for 500$. Inspection showed many issues with floor/studs as well as the roof. Inspection also noted only an outhouse. Therefore, we told Yolanda micky Peterson that we won't sign until septic inspection is done. Yolanda Micky said that she would do septic inspection. It turns out that there is no septic tank. We noticed the Zillow listing change to holding tank. Micky said it's a holding tank. Meanwhile, we are being pressured to finish escrow signatures. Finally we found out that it's an out house. Now listing says "other" for sewer. The listing was deceptive and we were mislead into paying 500$ inspection fee. Luckily we did not enter escrow nor paid the deposit. Due to deceptive listing by selling agent Yolanda micky Peterson, we asked for 500$ reimbursement; however, they refused. Do not trust micky Yolanda Peterson nor Eric Peterson. They will use deceptive techniques. Even if not intentional (which it clearly is), it's still illegal, neglect and misrepresentation by agent. read more

For the July 4, 2000 weekend, we stayed with friends in their Moonridge house in Big Bear. As this was our first time in Big Bear, we were very impressed by the surrounding area and the house (recent construction and log home style) itself. So impressed that after that weekend, we considered buying a home there. We contacted our friends' realtor and requested two things: a home located in Moonridge, and a home built by the same builder. Mary and Hud Wilson became our realtors. They met with us, listened attentively, made comments, and asked detailed questions. The inventory was scarce. Mary decided to contact previous buyers with homes constructed by the log home contractor. Mary had researched each possibility diligently. Appointments were set up. At each home, Mary had a summary of pro and con comments, which included price reasonability, possible issues, necessary changes, etc. Then, she showed us 43747 Canyon Crest. The owners were waiting for the contractor to complete a larger log home as they decided to reside in Big Bear full time. Once again, Mary and Hud guided us through the process, with questions, comments, and feedback. Their input was invaluable and the buying process remarkably smooth. We would never forget their time, effort, interest, and concern throughout the process. TWENTY FIVE YEARS LATER-Our Big Bear chapter is coming to a close. Of course, we contacted Mary and Hud Wilson to sell the cherished house they found for us. The Zillow listing they had created with spectacular photos and descriptions was outstanding. Following that, once again, their professionalism, their time and effort, their experience and their care and concern for customers with continuous communication was strong, constant, and unwavering. There was an update after each potential buyer's appointment, Their guidance is insightful in responding to buyer's comments and questions. Their awareness and assessments of positives and negatives and alerting of issues and possible issues as well as reasonableness of all parts to an offer were tremendously helpful. Their now more than 30 years of BB Experience not only have sharpened their keen instincts but have earned them the respect of their Big Bear colleagues. I found a cabin in Big Bear and called the number listed, I then was in touch with Alex Felts. Alex was less than excited it seemed to help me & my family find the cabin that fit our needs. Every home we looked at was a home i found online, and every one we looked at with Alex seemed to not be the right fit for us according to Alex. I don't know how seasoned of an agent she is, but I think every business person knows to always give their client a business card and to make a client feel as though they are important enough to make time for their client, especially when the client is already "pre-approved" and knows exactly what they want. Alex never had time for us, I guess he business is doing so well that she doesn't care. My family and I ended working with another who's with another agency and we felt like the new agent was more willing to give us the time and effort we needed to find the perfect place. So the bottom line is that this agent who represents REMAX lost our business because she just didn't have the time. read more

Bryan Iverson from Remax was selling my two story house. He tried to get me to accept a very lowball offer. Then illegally took my house off the market without my permission when i wouldn't accept his low ball offer for $50,000. Bryan later sold my house for $100,000 . Then my house was flipped for $200,000 and then $300,000 . I will never forget Bryan Iverson or what he did to me. telling me that my house was trash and i was wasting his time and that i would be lucky to get $50,000 for my garbage. He tried to scam me. My house was an amazing house. Just needed some paint and a few minor repairs. I tried to file a complaint to get his license revoked but they sent me hundreds of pages to fill out. This behavior seems to be the standard in Big Bear area. I was told agents up in Big Bear will withhold offers and get other agents to buy your property and then together flip it and split the cash. I lost a lot of money, dont let this happen to you. read more

My experience with Bob Angilella was far from professional forcing me to make the switch to Keller Williams. I should have seen the red flags when I first called him and all he could seem to do was slander Keller Williams and other firms. I'm competitive in my field of business, but I do not slander my competition in order to gain clients. Its obvious he feels his team has a corner on the market in Bigbear. After days of delay I was told they could not take photos of my home because some light bulbs were not working. You can not get any more lazy then not being willing to change a few light bulbs when receiving the hefty percentages an agent receives. Bob expected me to make a four hour drive to change a few lightbulbs. It was decided switching to Keller Williams was the better option.
