We booked our Lake Wanaka and Arrowtown trip with them. Operated by Kathy and Wayne. Both excellent and friendly. We met Wayne at the local pick up point for majority of tours. There was a bit of miscommunication at the beginning because we had an infant with us. The booking page website doesn't specify infants not allowed but the description page of the tour says infants not allowed. In the end, we drove to Lake Hayes and switched vehicles and they were able to provide a baby seat. If you want to bring an infant along, I would recommend contacting them as it will be on a case by case and how booked they are. Kathy took us around and was very informative. I had a lot of lifestyle questions about Queenstown/New Zealand and she happily answered them. Unfortunately for us, it was raining that day and the clouds were low lying so certain scenic spots she took us to weren't so scenic. We still stopped at these locations but we didn't stay for long. At Lake Wanaka, she gave us ample time to take pics of the famous tree. I brought my tripod and landscape gear and I had enough time to compose my photo and take enough photos. We went to Big Fig for lunch, a place she recommended and I highly recommend it as well. After Lake Wanaka, we went to the Cardrona Hotel. We learned a bit of history about the hotel and she got all of us ginger beer, which was excellent. On the way back, we stopped along side the road to try to get some photos of baby sheep. We also stopped by a vet hospital to see their baby sheep. We also stopped by Cardrona Bra fence. Tons of bras there and even have a box for breast cancer donation, which I thought was an excellent idea. We then drove back towards where we were picked up during the day and because it was a small group of 2, she was kind enough to drop us off in front of our apartment (which was prob along the way home for her). We appreciated the kind gesture.
Overall, I would highly recommend them as they are very personable and extremely family oriented. If there aren't many groups that day with you, you kind of get a personalized tour. I don't know the exact pricing, but in the future, I would book them for a personalized tour for various attractions (eg Milford Sound). If anyone/any group looking to get away from the big tour companies and want something more personalized, this is the group to go with. Also, you will be less time constrained so you can take more time to get the photos you want. read more
