She was on time, a lot of talk, and during her presentation made a lot of promises. These promises included: 7/24 care, 7/24 immediate contact, 7/24 availability, 7/24 immediate access to Hospice El Paso professionals, 7/24 immediate access to a nurse and doctor, and 7/24 access to any medical needs. During her presentation I stopped Abby several times and questioned her regarding all the promises she was making. She, again, promised that everything she had stated was accurate, and added that all calls were recorded and reviewed. All issues we may have during their service would be reviewed and answered by Hospice upper management team. After signing the paperwork, I told her that my sister needed an air mattress, due to bed sores. She promised that one would be delivered that evening. This was NOT delivered. Brenda, a nurse, came the next day to check on my sister. After her evaluation and the fact that my sister had issues keeping anything down. Brenda suggested that we move her to the Hospice Hospital so they could get in control of her eating habits, and then she could return home after this was corrected. We agreed and again I mentioned the air mattress. She promised they would have one ready for her at the hospital. The next day and in route my sister was talking, telling the ambulance crew to be careful. When I got to the hospital and saw her, I was shocked. I immediately called the nurse and asked her what had happened and what had been done or given to her. My sister lay in the bed, completely out and incoherent. The nurse told me I would have to check with the doctor. I said fine and asked when he would be there. She told me that she would check and get back with me. I asked about the air mattress, and again she said she would check. It was a long night. After numerous calls to Hospice main number, no one answered the phone. Calls to Abby the Administrator, did not pick up calls or respond to messages, and same response to Brenda the nurse. I finally lost it at the hospice hospital and one of the nurses got Crissy Jacoba, Hospice Specialist, on the phone for me. Again, I ran into another used car salesperson. She listened to my complaints, and I asked about all the promises made. She did not say anything but would look into the issue and get back with me. I asked the nurse about my sister's health. At that time, I found out they were pumping her full of morphine. I asked again about the air mattress. Again, she was going to check into. I asked when the doctor was going to be there. Again, she would check and get back with me. I was with her until 2:30 am. During that time, I noted that NO one came in and checked on my sister. The next day I was there at 9:00 am. In a matter of minutes we had lost my sister: No medical attention or review, No treatment, No air mattress, No doctor visit, Thank Dr. Becerra, and No action / No response from Hospice El Paso. This after all the promises made. This was a horrible, horrible experience that no one should ever have to go through. Hospice El Paso should be ashamed of how: they took care of my sister, how they took advantage of the people in need, how they made promises that were not kept, and how they ignored the people they promised to take care of. These People are at the most need in their life for "Help". The Help that you promised, the Help you said would be available, and the Help you ignored and did not respond to. Shame on you!

Short of God sending actual angels or his son back to Earth for another round these professionals are the best we can hope for. Our care team not only provided support and comfort for my mother but offered advice, listened to, and aided us as care givers. Lauren and Vale are absolute saints that I could not have made this journey without. The comments I have read here on this business in no way reflect the experience I had. Compassion was presented from the first phone call to the last. The team repeatedly checked in on us and ask what we needed constantly. They always strived to overachieve and wouldn't leave our home unless our needs were handled. Often also asking about our health and our emotional well-being. This process is exhausting to say the least. Don't try to wait, call in those who are called to this profession... I can't imagine anyone who hate their job stays in this line of work... it has to be a calling. Thank you team for your care, your words, and for blessing our family in a dark time. We will never forget you.

Normally there are only two people staffing this unit, so sometimes it's hard to get something if they are busy with other patients. We felt very comfortable going in and out of the facility. They had their own parking right next-door. It's not in the best area of town, and the train passes close by. Overall, we are very happy with how we were treated. Let me give you an example, Norma Bujanda would complain my mother used too much electricity. My mother had one night stand light, a tv and a computer with a mini fridge in her room. The electric she used was about 8 dollars/month. Norma Bujanda would go into my mothers room and yell at her, berating her to the point my mom had to cover her ears with her hands and then started crying. APS was called multiple times. She came up with every excuse she could and made it a hostile environment to force my 86 year old bed and chair ridden geriatric patient out. She complained to me how she didn't get enough money for the room and I believe that was the reason for why she did what she did to my mother. Norma Bujanda comes across as this nice caring lady, in fact in my opinion she is the exact opposite.

You know the best part... the glaucoma machine. You know the machine that blows air into your eyes to test the pressure? At the previous optometrist, I'd always "fail" the test and then I'd have to go through the process of having my eyes dilated which always sucks because driving after is the worst. FBOC's glaucoma machine was actually able to give a real reading because it was a quick push of air instead of the long shot of air that was always forced my eyes to shut. No dilation, YAY! Pretty smooth process and from start to finish was maybe an hour of my time. The staff is great. And I felt like they really went the extra mile with everything... the doctor even decided it was best to do a follow up appointment since there was some uncertainty with my contacts. I paid out of pocket and felt that the price for a contact and glasses prescription was reasonable at $129 (and that included the trial pair of contact lenses).

The people could not be more friendly or helpful, bending over backwards to serve my every need, even my special dietary issues. I vibrant Physical Therapy program that worked around my dialysis schedule but still got me back on my feet and mobile again in the time I had set a goal for. They offered to do my laundry during my stay. They had several shower options as I progressed that I really appreciated. And every person I met was super engaging and seemed genuinely concerned about my well being during my stay. Inviting me to religious services, of which they hold one daily, of various religions depending on the day. A "game" room with bingo and other engaging games and group activities, to get you out of the room and out of the bed. A nurse always on duty, to talk to or get meds. And they even set a daily morning and evening med schedule and administered my meds in a timely manner, on schedule to help me heal and keep me in good health. They also provided me rides to and from my dialysis treatments 3 times a week. And they were CONSTANTLY cleaning, my room, the hall, you Name it... very sanitary. Every the night time nurse and CNA's check in you every few hours just to make SURE you're "OK" in your room. If I EVER have to go back into a situation where I need rehab or an extended stay with nursing care again, I will definitely return to Pebble Creek Nursing Center. Their staff is off the charts !!!

My son was a patient here for about two years. During that time, changes in personnel at his school…read morecaused his behavior to change. Like most children on the spectrum, he thrives on routine. His SLP, Ms. Annette Barron, reported that my son had bitten her and that his behavior had become aggressive over the course of three weeks. He was then discharged from speech therapy after the owner claimed to have had a multidisciplinary meeting with Diego's OT and Feeding Therapist. We were called in for a meeting where the owner mentioned that since speech therapy was a structured environment, Diego would need to have his behaviors addressed first. However, the discharge was final. There was no opportunity to seek medication or involve the parent in the goal-setting process, which was one of my struggles with the center. The owner offered support to my son's school therapist but did not attempt to build the capacity of her SLP, Ms. Annette. We followed the suggestions of the SLP by not observing his sessions and changing his time as recommended by Ms. Annette, only to later be told that we did not participate in his sessions and that he would thrive with OT followed by speech. The challenges arose as we advocated to see more growth in our son since he was thriving in school. Following the recommendation of his pediatrician, we dropped my son from all programs, and he is now thriving at his new center. Many of the reviews on this page are at the request of the center. The therapists will continuously ask for positive reviews. If you have a challenging situation with your kids, want to be part of the goal-setting process, or have the utmost respect for your child's physician, then this is not the place for you. They will continuously assert that the doctor is not the expert or professional in their area. As a leader in education, all I can do is inform the parents I work with about the experiences we had. Not all the therapists are unethical, but at least in my son's interaction with Ms. Annette, it was.

After a few weeks, I was able to get her breast feeding. That lasted a few months up until she was reaching her 1st birthday. We started having bad latching episodes. Long story short, after insisting that something isn't right, and my motherly intuition & google photos, my daughter was finally diagnosed with lip, tongue and cheek ties. After changes of physicians, both dental and primary, we somehow got into paths with New Beginnings. We contacted and met with Kendra, whom we shared our long detailed story. She was very kind and made me feel not only heard, but she genuinely cared for my little girl's treatment plan/evaluation. She is kind, gentle, informative, professional and understanding. She even offers weekend appointments which is incredibly important for us to also include dad in on this journey. It's very important for both of us to be present and learn. Kendra is an accredited, educated speech pathologist and I feel confident in her ability to treat our children and get them the help they need. New beginnings has a waitlist and I'm sure Kendra is on a team full of educated, special health professionals! I am currently going to be placing ourselves on the waitlist for another (new eval) since I am so impressed with Kendra and New Beginnings.

What followed wasn't a slapstick comedy moment but rather a painful plot twist: a shattered elbow, a dislocated arm, and a torn ligament. Ouch doesn't even begin to cover it. What I didn't know then was that I was about to embark on a two-year journey of grit, healing, and more than a few laughs--thanks to the phenomenal team at Infante Hand & Rehabilitation. Enter the dream team: Art, Adam, and Teresa--aka my occupational therapy superheroes. From day one, they brought their A-game. These folks don't mess around. They pushed me (with just the right amount of "you've got this!" force) to regain function in an arm that originally resembled overcooked spaghetti. Their therapy sessions weren't just effective--they were entertaining. I never knew recovery could involve so much creativity, sweat, and the occasional "Wait, what is this exercise supposed to be?" moment. Special shout-out to the wedge and the table--my personal favorites. (I vote we retire the wedge like a sports jersey. It's earned it.) And let's not forget the techs--equally fantastic, endlessly encouraging, and always ready with a good laugh or a kind word. They made me feel like part of the family, not just another patient on the schedule. Honestly, I spent so much time there I could probably train staff or prep clients, if they asked. Between chats with the team and bonding with fellow clients, the hours flew by. Healing may have been the goal, but connection was the bonus. As I walked out the doors for the last time, I felt a mix of joy, pride, and a little sadness. You don't spend two years with such incredible people and not miss them when it's over.
