They called me the next business day and said the problem was with one of the circut boards and that Asus didn't provide them anymore they couldn't find a replacement for it anywhere on the internet and advised that I should just scrap it - charged me $40 and gave it back to me. I ended up taking it to GJ Computer Repair based on a reccomendation from "The Computer Lady". They took it apart, found the "faulty circut board", removed it and then re=installed it. Laptop works great now.

Copy shops only work on high end office machines. One repair shop told me it wasn't worth while to repair printers as they were priced to be disposable. Having spent over $800 for a very nice printer, I didn't want to just dispose of it. Shawn at Colorado Monumental Computer Solutions was happy to come out and work on my printer. He arrived on time, he was pleasant and professional. He carefully diagnosed the problem. Sadly, he didn't have the part that was needed to complete the repair as it is a dealer only part. He was able to point me in the right direction to get the part. Once it was here, it was easy to install. As an IT professional, I can't say enough good things about Shawn and recommend him highly.
