Both plans seemed reasonably priced to me. They offered financing, which I didn't need but was nice to know is available. Since the system was far beyond its natural life span, we decided to replace . Chris and his partner gathered the materials and, although he got the system functioning enough to provide heat, they were there in 3 days. It took a whole day, but they worked hard all day and were very thorough. I appreciated how concerned Chris was with keeping the work area tidy, and he did a great job cleaning everything up when he was done. Everything is working tiptop, and I am happy with the warranties they provided. All in all a great job!

Dean at Comfort Air gives the best and most responsive service I have ever received from an HVAC…read morecompany. I woke up one morning this summer with no AC - not good in Florida. I found the paperwork on the system and noted it was installed by Comfort Air and gave them a call as soon as they opened. I told them the AC was out and the thermostat was reading blank. They immediately sent a service tech over, and he had the problem diagnosed, serviced, and had the system up cooling my house again within 30 minutes. Then Dean gave me some training to ensure I did not have the same issue again, plus some tips on how to get the best results from heating and cooling systems here on the Gulf coast. I can not adequately express the gratitude I have for this company and their customer service. Finally , I have to note that the equipment was still under warranty, but the labor warranty had expired. Regardless of this expiration, the service fee and labor costs were all waived. This is beyond fair, and companies like this are another reason I am happy I returned to NW Florida as my permanent residence.

Since Dean retired and his son Mitchell now runs the company, nothing is the same. Mitchell does not answer or return calls. He is never on time. He doesn't start his day before 11. He promises to arrive at 8 but doesn't show up or call. He shows up with the wrong part, leaves to go get the right one and is gone for 3+ hours. It has been more than a week and the job is not finished. He is also messy and does a poor job of cleaning up. After 13 days since I first contacted him, I have multiple holes in my ceiling, dust all over, and the problem is not fixed.

Jeremy & Shawn from Coltin Electric came to replace the electric meter running into our house…read more They were on time (and a little early!), worked consistently throughout the process, cleaned up everything when done, and were friendly, yet professional in their communications. Also, I'll add that because a part needed to be ordered, Coltin Electric will be coming back to replace/install it. And I know they'll be back in timely manner because they didn't demand or even ask for any payment after finishing with today's work. Typically laborers don't leave without having collected. I was impressed. BTW - I'm in Destin, FL and have no idea why this shows up as me being in San Francisco. ‍
