So the massages are hit and miss I went today and the guy worked on me was good I wish they would actually do more work on the feet for a foot massage though I feel like the majority of the time was spent on everything except my feet. They also shorted me on time I make a habit of setting a stopwatch on my phone during massages because I want to get the full time I asked if it's 60mins hands on or from the time you sit down. They said hands on well they ended with 10mins left. Then the receptionist argued with me about it and said the wall clock was fast ? Well I used a timer so that doesn't matter ‍. For $25, getting a "Foot Massage" that includes your whole body seems like a good deal. My concerns from there are that when you first lie down with your feet in the water the angle puts your back in an exaggerated curve. While lying down for the front of your body there is no bolster underneath your knees to keep that natural curve in your low back; same when lying face down - no bolster under your ankles for that natural curve. This can put a bit of a strain on your low back when turning over and getting up at the end. The person vigorously presses on your spine which is not wise. I ended up needing a chiropractic adjustment. If you have back/neck issues then I don't recommend going there. read more

My daughter and I had foot massages. The man doing hers was talking on his cell phone several times and getting up to help people. My girl did ok but hit a spot that really hurt. My foot came up off the table. She went back to that spot three times with the same pressure. She didnt seem to realize my foot was jumping in reaction to the pressure she was using. When we went to pay, the price had increased and there was a $2 charge to use my credit card. Since I paid in cash, I did not leave the tip I normally would. He got upset that it was only 15%. He made a real issue. I thought people charged what they wanted to receive and a tip was extra. Evidently that isn't true there. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Called ahead and asked for 2 body massages and 1 foot massage for 30 minutes each. No one came in to do the foot massage, just waited in the room for 30 minutes. In the body massage room, the two in there didn't want to take thier sports bras off and the masseuse yelled at them multiple times to take it off making it so uncomfortable. Then she massaged for a minute and then texted for a minute switching the whole time. Then charged for an hour massage even though it was confirmed multiple times that a half hour was what was desired. They were able to fit us in on a Sunday evening, and stayed open about 15 minutes late to do so. I liked that, unlike most of the foot massage places, there was a divider between each recliner and the one next to it; the additional privacy is nice. It was pretty quiet, but it really irked me that the gal that did my massage (believe she was the owner) made me sit up for the back massage part, while everyone else was asked to be on their stomach for it. Not impressed. The reception area does not have a door to separate it from the massage area so the entire time you are getting your massage you hear the phone being answered and people coming in. It makes it hard to enjoy your massage. Also the man who massaged me gave me gave a very strange massage. At one point he was massaging my back but was actually putting a lot of pressure on my clavicles. There is really very little muscle in that area. When I left I had red marks on both clavicles! This is my favorite place in Sonora to get a massage. Only $25 for a full hour foot massage. They call it a foot massage but they actually massage the whole body from head to foot. No need to disrobe, they just put a towel over you and massage you threw the towel. Be sure to wear pants that are above the knee or can be rolled up to the knee (or a dress). They prefer cash and should get at least a five dollar tip but I usually tip $10 because it's such a great deal. They do charge an extra dollar for a credit card, but the whole thing is such a great deal it's worth it. read more

Today was my second visit to Relax Sole Foot and Body Massage. On the first visit I had the foot massage which was very nice, even better than I expected. Today I decided to go for the total body massage and did not have a good experience. I have had many full body massages before and this was nothing like anything I have had before. The woman giving the massage did not seem to have been trained in any particular technique.... just a lot of rubbing and pinching... it was very uncomfortable, and I couldn't wait for the torture to be over. I was rushed in and out very quickly with no attention paid to atmosphere or comfort. It was a total waste of 65 dollars, which is what I paid including the tip. I may return for the foot massage, but never again for the total body massage. read more

This is a great place to get a good, inexpensive foot massage. I've always been satisfied with the massage and service. Having said that, I would say that they are very pushy on tipping . I always tip $5.00 for a $25.00 massage which I feel should be acceptable. The person at the front desk acts offended that it is not more. I have heard that they confront people that they feel haven't tipped enough. This to me is unprofessional and unacceptable. You can't beat the price thats for sure. You can have a private room were you can disrobe or a semi private area with clothes on and I was very surprised that even with my clothes on the message was wonderful. My friend and I went in yesterday to get a 30 minute body massage, we were told to come back in 20 minutes and returned then. When we first walked in I asked if they offered prenatal massage, never having been there and not knowing the routine. He told me I could sit in a chair so I wouldn't be laying down. They sat me on a rolling bench and gave me hands down the most painful and uncomfortable massage I've ever received. My masseuse was clearly uncomfortable massaging me and put a towel over my shoulders to keep me covered which he had to readjust many times to keep from falling down. To keep me from rolling around and the towel falling he pressed himself against me. Now I did not feel at all as though he were being sexual, but I do not want to feel a man's crotch on my back while I'm getting massaged. He pinched and aggressively rubbed my shoulders the entire 30 minutes. My friend got a body massage, with lotion on her shoulders, I got a towel rub and a rub literally on my spine. Today I have visible bruises on my spine and collarbone. I'm sorry, but this experience was terrible, I would way rather pay $20 more to have a relaxing experience and leave rejuvenated.
