My husband had recently been suffering with some persistent hip pain and he was having trouble alleviating it- despite stretches and icing it -so we looked up massage spots in the area that could potentially help. I've been going here for years and usually have an amazing experience, but today was a bit different. Had an appointment for an hour foot massage at 5:30 in the junction location and here I am writing this in my car at 6:26. From the start the lady massaging me seemed really rushed, and the face, head, and foot massage was fine, but the rest was her just pushing into my body and not doing much massaging. The back massage was entirely her pushing into my back, neck, and spine really hard with her which hurt pretty badly. She pushed on the back of my neck really hard at the end of the massage with her elbow which made me cough, and as soon as I did that she patted my back quickly and finished the massage early. I'm used to deep tissue massage and prefer it, but like I said before this just seemed rushed and the lady didn't seem trained much for how hard she continued to push into and elbow my entire spine. I've received some really nice massages here and will probably be back but only to the Pinocchio's location because I really don't want to risk getting this lady again. read more

Came here for the 90 minute body massage and foot massage combo for $90. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to get an appointment an hour later. I had the man who did a decent job with the body massage but the foot massage was weird and painful. He kept massaging the side of my heels up to the inside of my knee which were all sore after and the next day. He barely massaged my actual feet at all. Then when I tipped him more than 15% in cash he didn't seem that happy as evidenced by not saying thank you or goodbye. Not a good quality foot massage or experience. I've heard very good things about Relax Sole, so we decided to stop by as an early Valentines Day treat. We went in around 2:00pm but were advised and scheduled to come back at 4:00pm. We arrived and were promptly taken back to the massage area. The place is very clean and has a quiet, relaxing ambiance. The ladies doing the massages were nice and thorough! We got the one hour foot massage and it's basically a whole body massage. They do your scalp, face, neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, legs, and feet. They also soak your feet and do a hot towel. I like having this place in our county. Perfect to work out some knots when you've done a lot of grueling work. Normally it's fine but this time was a different experience. My masseuse was burping the entire hour and some were quite loud it was hard to relax and people kept walking in which is fine but main receptionist had left so people working on my family stopped and attended them and we all finished at same time even though he should have been allotted an additional 5 minutes which was warranted for lack of massage. The real kicker was afterwards. I paid with my card, they charged an additional 1.00 for doing so which is ok. I added a 10.00 tip for a now 28.00 massage. Everyone lined up at the door and I told my masseuse I left a 10.00 tip on the car payment. Since the main receptionist wasn't there, I had three people asking for tip and arguing with me and the gentleman had to go back into the recorded history on the iPad and I had to show him my recent transaction showed 38.00. No apology but said it was good. Keep in mind in future that if you pay card, you have a cash tip to avoid these kind of issues. I have never had issues paying tip with card before but like I said, main woman receptionist had left when we had gotten there. read more

Had a full body massage today - it was VERY painful. Lots of elbow jabs, and pushing & rubbing hard on my bones vs my muscles. The whole time I couldn't wait for it to be over. When I got home I popped some ibuprofen - can only imagine what this will feel like tomorrow. Also his was not the discount massage this was $80 plus tip. For reference I've gotten many massages before at Massage Envy & Massage spas all were quite amazing - never had an issue. Also, I've gotten deep tissue massages that were amazing - this was NOT that - it was all pain and no massage skill. I'll never be going back. It was only $25.00 ( plus a tip) and they give you like a full body massage for an hour - arms, legs, neck, back etc. The place was clean and sanitary and the lotion they use is super absorbent and non-greasy. If you are thinking of getting a massage there, stop thinking, and call them up and get it, you will not regret it. I am an attorney that works in the Bay Area and live in Jamestown and like to go for a massage 2-3 per month. This is an awesome place to have a foot massage. The chairs are comfortable and the place is very clean. There are four foot high partitions between you and the other clients, I avoid being distracted by other clients by wearing ear buds when I get my massage. When I put them in and turn on the music I am not distracted (or annoyed) by anyone coming in or leaving. I have had six different therapists and each of them asked what type of massage I wanted and gave me a deep and hard massage for the entire two hours that I booked. After starting out soaking my feet the therapist works on my shoulders, arms and neck (this is all included in the FOOT MASSAGE). After completing the foot massage, they rolled me over and worked on my back and my legs giving me a total body work out. For a foot massage you keep your clothing on and they roll up your pants to your knees. When they later rub your shoulders, depending on the therapist, they may go over your clothing, or if you are wearing a short sleeved shirt, rub under it. While I was not in a private room, due to the four foot walls between us, I never saw the person next to me and since the location was immaculate I did not mind that. I have had many a massage in a private room and of course I have also paid the $100.00 per hour plus cost for that private massage. This place is often busy so do not think you can just drop in, although I have been there when they have been able to accommodate drop in clients. The service is outstanding, the price is even better, and if you wear some ear buds you will have no idea that anyone is even near you in the next chair. I highly encourage you to go here so long as you do not take MY spot when I want it! read more

I have been coming here at least once a month for years and generally have a great time. Always make sure to make an appointment as walk-ins are usually unavailable. You can request a soft or firm massage and male or female therapist. They also have two locations, the one by Perko's is much quieter but the junction seems to have the stronger therapists in my opinion. I will admit I have had a few disappointing experiences here but for $35 (including tip) for an hour foot massage, I usually just laugh it off and come back for more. Sorry to have to give such a negative review because this was one of the few places I had given a five star review for. It doesn't get much better for just $25! I've passed this place for years, but never looked into it. Today my friend and I went for my birthday and have decided to make this a monthly thing! For $25 you get a one hour, full body not just foot massage. You're fully clothed, wear something comfortable. They soak your feet to start and work from the head down, scalp massage, neck, shoulders etc. then you turn over and they work on your back. I really can't believe this only cost $25+ a tip. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Don't wear face makeup as they do massage your face, with lotion. And they massage your scalp so doing your hair nicely is a waste.
