A lot of fake reviews by friends…read more I made 2 hours reservation with JP. He was not there when I arrived and almost got baited and switched. After insisting on getting JP. He showed up after a little while. When I tried to tell him where my problem is, where it hurts, his first response was, "shhh dont talk so loud". Really ? Okay this is already a huge red flag. After 2 hours of him massaging me and using hot stone without my permission. My pain did not improve even a little bit! Why ? Because he didnt take the time to listen to me, where my pain is. He did not know any pressure points, he did not try to feel out where the muscle knots are. I was in constant pain while he massaged the wrong areas. He did not care and the massage session was over. Horrible stay away. Beware of all these fake 5 star reviews by his chinese friends. This is not someone who knows what he is doing. Just another scammer from China.

Hands down, the best massage therapist!!!…read more I ran the Honolulu marathon yesterday, and I woke up with a massive body ache, barely able to get out of bed... I knew I had to go get a massage. I've tried massages from expensive spas to cheap massage schools, but nothing compares to Michael's massage. Thanks to Yelp! He knows all the right places (like inner scapula, outer tibia, and along the spine) and the pressure was peeeeerfect (I like mines on the stronger side). Just what I needed from head to toe, literally! The unique combination of shiatsu (my fav), lomi lomi, and deep tissue really helped massage out my achy muscles. It hurt when he was massaging it out but it was a feel good pain! You can always ask him to change the pressure. But I loved it!! I even fell asleep a little bit...cuz it felt so good!! I'll definitely be back again. I wanna say tomorrow, but I gotta save money for Christmas shopping ;p But I'm def going back before the year end. Thank you Michael!!! Location: Home studio or he'll travel to your home!!! I went to his home studio - small but nice and cozy, smells good too!! It's a much better deal if you go to his studio too, but if you're too lazy to get out of the house, it's still way cheaper than many other places. Parking: No parking so make sure you street park on Oceanview or Sunset. I found parking easily.

Instead, after agreeing to all of this, they avoided my calls for several months, then informed me they are keeping my money and not rescheduling me for even an hour massage. This company stole 100% of my $260 for no services rendered and backed out of the agreement we had in person. They are thieves with no integrity. Don't give them your money.

Our massage therapist was Li, and she was absolutely outstanding. She really worked out tension spots I did not even know existed. I was expecting just a basic neck/shoulders massage; but Li worked on arms, neck, back, head and hands! Li was so sweet, and she used the perfect pressure/technique. Although my office had us in a room with the door open, I felt super comfortable the entire time. I really hope our office decides to make this a regular treat for us. Thank you Li & SF Massage Works!

This experience was a birthday gift from my gf which is awesome! =] At first, we were so curious and in doubt on how the massage will go. Will it be worth it or something we'll regret. Things that pops in your mind whether they are really good or just a bunch of positive paid reviews. Or are they really professionals. As they introduce themselves and setup their massage equipments, they let you relax and fill up a form. Just in case something happens to us there is a contact person. And If you're taking any medications or have any complications. This is for their record and for them to be aware of your condition before the massage takes place. The equipment setup only took 15mins or even less. The massage experience was fantastic. You don't feel any body aches after the massage unlike other massages. Their hands are like waves. =] Their massage can be adjusted, how light or hard the massage. It's based on personal preference. All I can say is that they are very professional on what they do. I even hugged Ria and Gail after the session. LoL! I'm just being thankful and wanted to let them know that we appreciate their wonderful service. Thank you for the gift!
