Review for Sarasota Surgical Arts -- Dr. Alberico J. Sessa…read more I originally gave this doctor 5 stars on the Google , because I trusted him and believed what he promised me during my consultation. After 8 months, I am extremely disappointed with both my experience and my results. I had a breast lift with implants, and I am unhappy with the results of both. My biggest concern was my left breast. I had the same problem after a previous surgery, with the breast extending toward my left armpit. I specifically told the doctor I did NOT want this to happen again. He reassured me that the implant would not go toward my armpit and told me not to worry. Unfortunately, after surgery, I have the same problem again. This is extremely upsetting because this was something I specifically discussed with him and was promised would not happen. I was also told during my consultation that I would not need a drain for my tummy tuck. On the day of surgery, I was told I would have one. After the tummy tuck, I also developed small dog ears at the ends of the incision, which I am unhappy with. I am also unhappy with my tummy tuck and liposuction results. The right side of my abdomen does not match the left side, and the liposuction on my back near my right buttock left what looks like a large indentation. I am also unhappy with the results of the fat transfer under my eyes. What has been especially disappointing is the lack of access to the doctor after surgery. When I asked to see him about my concerns, I was made to wait in the room for more than an hour and a half. When I finally saw him and tried to ask questions about my results and concerns, he walked out while I was speaking. I felt completely disrespected and ignored. I paid a significant amount of money for these procedures, and after 8 months I am still very unhappy. I trusted this doctor based on what I was told before surgery, but my experience and results have been completely different from what I expected. My experience has been extremely disappointing.

This was truly a disappointing experience. I saw an ad on Facebook for a $2999 Summer Special for…read morethe procedure I wanted. When I spoke with the representative on the phone, she agreed that it was the correct price. But then she added that the surgical center would charge an additional $1300 and that anesthesia would be $1250 for the first hour and $600 per hour after. I sent pictures, and I met with the doctor via phone. It all seemed easy, nothing out of the ordinary. Then I received a call from his office manager. The price was to be $8200. The old " Bait and switch" The price should have been between $5549 (including one hour of anesthesia) and $6149 (including the additional anesthesia). I would have happily paid that, but $8,200. A $2051 tax on a whim. I'm not his customer anymore. Frank Futie
