I went to Point Lumineux for their cool sculpting services. I met with a technician who described the entire procedure to me in full detail. She took the required photos and measurements of my abdomen which is the area I was targeting. I made an appointment to have the procedure performed and was assured of noticeable results. The entire procedure took approximately 2.5 hours. I was to return in 90 days for my follow-up visit, which I did. More measurements and photos were taken for comparison. I was very dissatisfied with the results. The technician on this visit was different from the original. When I voiced my dissatisfaction I was told the person that did the procedure (who by the way was no longer employed with them) used the wrong applicator. At this time I asked aren't all the technicians trained on which applicators to use for which procedure? She said she couldn't speak for the other technician. She then attempted to Re-Sell me for an additional procedure which was at a cost of more than the original one. Buyer Beware! read more

The people at Point Lumineux were super nice when I called! They answered all of my questions and she knew what she was talking about, Misty importantly! When I went in, there was a woman at the desk who was very nice and so down to earth! Rhi was the person I met with, I can't even say enough A-M-A-Z-I-N-G thing's about this woman! 1st off, I was telling her something personal and this woman, this beautiful woman, was in the 1st 10 minutes with me and she actually cried for ME. Rhi is something called an empath and from what I understand, that means, Rhi could feel the pain I was in! I know it might sound strange, but it was the sweetest thing to me and it meant so much! Rhi too, is very down to earth and was just so easy to talk to! Rhi helped me then figure out where I wanted to do my cool sculpting. She was very honest about what she thought I needed and very honest with the things she thought were unnecessary. She's just a person who, excited about life and get excitement is contagious! I have seen the good reviews here and because of that I called for a facial. The receptionist appears to be extremely dim-witted. She answered the phone with Dr. Hoffmeyer's office which was momentarily confusing but I asked for a facialist and the receptionist said "how can I help you". Assuming that I had the wrong telephone number I thanked her and hung up. I called back again --same situation; and I said Point Lumineux is using your telephone number to which she replied this is Point Lumineux and I said that I was confused because you said Dr. Hoffmeyer's office; she said "what do you want".
