The inside is very clean and they wash your feet before each time. The chairs are very comfortable and recline if you want. I went again earlier today, 5 months into my pregnancy (highly recommend for expectant mamas) and they adapted the massage to address different pressure points than they hit before I was pregnant. Bonus - there are parking spots for expecting moms right outside of Dicks sporting goods which is right next door to Chi - easy in, easy out! The one slight drawback is right outside the doors is a child's play area, if that kind of sound bothers you I suggest bringing headphones.
