We recently wrote an offer on a Lake Almanor Country Club cabin looking for a quick close with a two week inspection period. During a busy time, Bill Reid was flexible with his schedule and agreed to inspect our home on short notice. Unlike some inspectors, he encouraged us to be present during the process. This was important for us.
Bill arrived on-time, and got right to work. He said the inspection would probably take four hours. It was obvious that he was organized and very thorough in his approach. During his inspection, he was always approachable; answering any questions my wife and I had. The inspection took about five hours, we appreciated his doing what it took to do a quality job. He said he should be able to deliver the report the next day.
The next morning his report arrived. The first thing I notice was that it was 143 pages long! It included not only many images and diagrams, but videos too! The detail was mind-blowing. Bill checked with us before forwarding the report to our real estate agent. He also followed up a few days later.
Bill Reid knows home construction, inside and out, due to his many years as a contractor. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality inspection.
