We had just gotten into town so my hubs said lets check out more shops before you buy it and then see something cuter lol. 2 days later we were back for it :) the quality, the softness, the simple cute design, there is no better. I probably would have gotten a lot more stuff if I knew the rest of our vacation I'd find nothing in other towns (Lexington & Cincinnati) lol. Everyone loves my sweatshirt who sees it. I kept hounding my husband to get something but as much as I rather spoil my son and not myself he's even worse than me like that lol. Despite me saying you're on vacation this is so soft get something 50x.

Small little business concept!…read more As you wander through life we happened to come across this little place. Now it's appears to be a men's clothing and shoe store. They carry both vintage and new items for sale. The store is independently owned by a local retailer with fabulous style. Now the selection of vintage is well and not overly complicated or expensive. They are pieces that an individual on a budget can add to their wardrobe. They are not per se name brands but they are brands that are well loved . They have a way of using old Pokémon cards as the price tags for their products for sale. The selection is very different and overall something to be seen. Pop in just because. They sell wild items at random! For example, do you remember the My Little Pony? They have actual artifacts from our childhood. They sell actually Kiss Army stuff. It's a world of the past for us to buy. Make an offer! Now this individual was helping someone and is slow to help others. He did ignore us for the most part. But the eye candy of the store was too cool! It's like a living museum that maybe you could purchase something if you could get someone's attention.

I am in love with this store. White's Mercantile, which opened a little bit ago in NuLu, is chock…read morefull of so many well curated odds and ends. Homewares. Jewelry. Books. Candles. Lotions and body products. Art. Kids goods. Food gifts. Some of the items are local, while others are not. I spied some of Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop products on the shelves, for example. If you're a fan of Schitt's Creek, White's is what I imagine Rose Apothecary to be like (unfortunately minus a David Rose, though). What typically draws me in at White's, though, are the baby goods. It's taken a lot of willpower to not buy one of the adorable "Gentleman" onesies for my son. There are also bibs, books, toys, blankets and items to decorate a very stylish nursery. If you're in need of a gift, you can likely find something here. I picked up a "Garden & Gun" book about dogs for my mother-in-law recently. White's definitely has an artisan, "Garden & Gun" vibe, with some practical items, as well as some not-so-practical, like a fashionable jar of matches that cost way more than a giant box of matches. But hey, that's kind of the fun part -- looking through everything. The prices also run the gamut. While there are definitely more expensive items, you'll likely be able to find something in your budget as well. If you're in need of a delightful shopping experience, definitely give White's a try.
