So I was amazed when I realized I have been working from this place every single day for over a year now and hadn't stopped to review it. Let's make this wrong a right, no? The best way for me to summarize Link is it's a place for grownups to come to work every day. By grown up, I mean in mentality, not age -- the people here are serious, kind, hardworking, compassionate, creative, and welcoming business owners that all thrive on productivity, flexibility, and a healthy dose of order. Before settling on Link, I toured a few other co-working joints in town and have come to the conclusion that co-working spaces fall into a variety of categories: 1.) Places where you can probably also buy weed, in addition to co-work. Nothing wrong with that if it's your thing. Just not mine. 2.) Places that are downtown and beautiful and fancy, but involve death by commuting, and also paying for a parking contract. 3.) Small houses on the east side, also really cool and inviting. I just don't have a fixed gear bike and enough kale chips in my pockets to feel at home. Still love you, my patchouli-loving gang of hippie coworkers. Liz and team run a tight ship, by which I mean she keeps the place clean, well maintained, welcoming, and professional -- with just the right amount of casual fun. I read the one-star review where someone complained about rules, and I can honestly say that the entire Link community does expect our co-working coworkers to be able to handle a basic set of rules -- and help keep the place profitable and sustainable by paying extremely reasonable fees for using the really nice resources put in place for us. Also, no food stealers, please. If you are looking for a place to steal sandwiches, you won't thrive here. A quick (and unofficial) test for if you will love Link, by me: Do you microwave fish every day for lunch? (Yes or No?) If you answered No, you will automatically love Link. No fish microwaving allowed. Link is made even better by tons of great places to eat within walking distance, a great coffee shop practically next door, a vibrant community of awesome professionals, and the Alamo freaking Drafthouse just steps away (just in case you sign a big deal and need to celebrate with a pint and a daytime monster invasion B-movie). Join the Link crew, you won't regret it. Unless you steal sandwiches. Then you will regret it big time.

Coffee, cold brew, seltzer water and kombucha included in your membership. Very excited to go back to a space to work in temporarily until my offices open back up later this year. The desks are clean, lots of meeting space and phone booths are also very helpful to maintain privacy when needed. Parking is free at this north location and at the tour, no available single office spaces at the moment but you can get on a waitlist, but the all access pass is perfect for my convenience for when I need to get up and go. Membership will work at all WeWork locations and is extra nice to be fluid in where I want to work out of space wise on a day to day basis. To give some background on Industrious - it's a standard co-working setup similar to any WeWork with a long laundry list of amenities (although I've heard WeWork has recently cut back...). This includes morning bagels, all the caffeine you need, as well as 3 - 4 events a week that include standard happy hours, etc. Unlike WeWork, the atmosphere is a little more mature. If WeWork was a person, it'd be a right-out-of college grad that jams out to the EDM in the lobby. Industrious feels a little more like someone in their late 20s / early 30s that puts on elevator music or slow jazz in the lobby. Personally, WeWork felt perfect for a Silicon-Valley startup trying to drive that growth mentality, while Industrious felt better suited for a small professional services firm that would wear business casual to entertain clients on a regular basis. The pricing is comparable to other coworking spaces both in terms of membership and office space, although their membership options were somewhat restricted to keep the density manageable. Again, many thanks to Margaret and Andi who were always extremely on top of everything administrative and space-related - you can't go wrong with them having your back!

Sure, they moved us but changing an address is a major PIA. No compensation for that. Moved to 100 Congress. Quiet and a good staff. Renewed again. Told in May that they were closing location. Again about 10 days to decide to move to new location or cancel lease. Big mistake. Should have cancelled lease instead of going to 501 Congress. Part of the reason to go with Regus was the mail service. If i was out of town they could open and scan or forward to a new address. 501 Congress was a total shit show. They wanted to bake cookies and set up board games for the wannabe WeWork space. Never came downstairs. For anything. When I left one day I had mail and dropped off at the front desk. The clerk was offended and told me to take it to a mailbox down the street. This is also the lazy crew that could not be bothered to deliver mail to an office. They kept it in a storeroom where only one person had a key. if they were on the phone you had to wait for them to finish and then open the locked room and check for mail. No mail access after hours or on weekends. Later received an apology from corporate that mail SHOULD be available- it is part of the FEE you are charged. No apology from the staff. Also, they charge you a fee roughly equivalent to one month rent when you leave. For cleaning and administrative fees. not part of your lease. They slip it into house rules. STAY AWAY!

The suite is sized to accommodate based on the event which you can describe when you book it. Michelangelo is the primary person at the front desk. He is very courteous, he is always dressed and groomed to a T...and represents Regus in a very positive light. The office has wireless that you can connect to, along with a common area that contains a kitchen and all the office equipment you might need while you are there as well. Great selections of coffees, teas, and waters. They can be your mail drop and can be utilized for phone service if you so choose. It's a very cool a la carte system.
