My problem was I never got a call or voicemail. When I I call and it was ready I went right down. I did not get the man's name but was abrasive and said they tried to call back in March. I simply asks if they were any discounts. Which the man began deep belly and said for what. I asked for a military and was laughed at and told no. All an ever wanted was a call or a voice mail. But the worker laughed at and mocked, when I was nicewas really mean. What is so funny about military discount.

Then the woman who was helping us happily showed us a lot more rings based on everything I liked and disliked about each one. She was super helpful! After some time, I knew that first ring was the one but I wanted it in gold so my husband worked with them and was able to see what it would look like and order it. I looked at other places to really know what I wanted, but G Thomas had the best selections and prices. After the wedding, I was able to stop in and get my rings soldered together. I dropped them off before going to brunch and then got a call that they were ready before brunch was over! The staff was so great through the whole process

I had a really terrible experience at Rick's Music Shop- involving Rick himself. I had dropped off…read morea tele for some improvements on the action of the guitar, to lighten it's strings and to fix a bum input jack. When I went back, the Tele's playability had been ruined. The new setup completely contradicted my requests as he put on heavy strings, and raised the action of the guitar. He couldn't tell me why he did it, and said "I wouldn't have done that unless you asked me to". DISAGREEING WITH ME. My guess was it was a result of poor organization of his repairs. I asked him "where we went from here", as he wanted me to pay $50 for a downgrade in quality. He refused to accept fault and made it clear that I wouldn't be leaving the shop with my guitar until I paid. I was shocked by the treatment, paid and have never gone back since.

The prices are only slightly above the big box online music stores but the extra money is negligible to the amount of service he gives. He has fixed 3 of my basses and and done countless setups. This guy is great, I highly recommend him.

I thought my Story and Clark was beyond repair, but Wallace proved me wrong! I had been quoted…read morecrazy rehab processes and prices and had held off for years to rehab this old piano. However, one day I thought I'd give it one more try to find the repairman who could bring this beauty back to her heyday. I found that person in Wallace. I had been told the sound board needed replacement and all the strings would have to be restrung. I was told it would be a minimum three month rehab project. Not only was the sound board in good condition, but the strings just needed some TLC. Wallace replaced all the ivory keys with plastic, as many were missing their overlay and to find exact replacement would be not only costly but almost impossible for a piano of this age, ~1920's. Wallace finished the project on time and on budget. No surprise costs and no delays. He was done installing the keyboard and tuning it within his two week timeframe and will be back in a couple of weeks to fine tune it after it has time to sit and rest. He was professional, on time, and very honest. I believe he not only deserves the five star rating but earned every bit of it. Attached are some before and after photos! Please message me if you have questions. In the first pics you can see the disrepair of the keys and the filth on the strings. The last pictures you can see the beautiful craftsmanship of the new white keys and the restoration of the ebony keys. Also, note the shining copper on the strings and all this restoration resulted in a beautiful sound. No more "twainey" sound.
