A secluded county park not too many folks know about Yahr park is a nice place to take your family…read moreswimming or drop a fishing line. The park offers tiered parking and we always choose the closest possible Parking as there have been car break ins that occurred in the farthest lost when we've been here. Hopefully an isolated event! The lake has a clean spacious beach area with two shaded benches and lots of picnic tables to store your belongings or hold a bbq while the kids swim. There is a fishing pier and the lake hosts a lot of canoeing and kayaking. There also is a nearby upgraded playground with bathrooms. Located between West Bend and Fredonia your bound to run into neighbors or friends here if your from either area!

Oh my gosh what a fabulous new playground in Grafton! I think it opened last year (?) but recently…read morewe made our first visit after seeing it shared online. It's so vast, colorful, and inviting to kids of all ages. We have a toddler, and our nephew who is a similar age, was also with us. Sometimes playgrounds can be a little too high/advanced for their age, but All My Friends Playground has a wide selection of areas to play on, including lower and less intense obstacles. Tons of slides and swings, climbing gyms, merry go round, teeter totter, and more. Plus there is a massive (and wonderfully colorful) butterfly that spreads shade over the middle of the playground. Other great parts about this park: it's completely fenced in by a lovely pickets that are all engraved by local families. It keeps all the kiddos safe and contained. Also the squishy flooring is a huge plus. It's so comfy to run around on and makes for a safer place if anyone falls. Really love the creativity and fun that went into creating this new play area. Thanks Grafton, we'll be back!

(3 July visit) I forgot that I posted these pictures without a review. I hadn't been here since I…read morewas early teens, so it was about 25+ years. The fishing has not changed, as the blue gill bite within 10 seconds when you fish around the pavilion as you first enter the park. That day was the first time that we took the trail all the way down to the next pavilion about a quarter mile or more down the trail, fishing success all along the way. The facilities are well kept and the families and summer school kids seemed to enjoy all that is offered at the park. We'll be back next fishing season to slay some more blue gills and fire up a grill.

But you will have to pay for food, parking, rides, pony rides, etc. If you're like me and just enjoy animals, you could almost come here and not spend any money... lol We were able to find street parking close by. We had a little walk to the fair, but I'm good for walking. All the animals were up close and personal, and so much more accessible than at the state fair. There were tons of food vendors and all the food you want at a county fair. We ended up eating at the clover cafe, because it was air conditioned and indoors, but the food there was meh. But cheap! $5.75 for a 1/3 lb cheeseburger! But it wasn't very well seasoned, and the "fried onions" on it definitely needed a little more cooking done to merit the "fried" part. Hot dog was only $4, and it was similar to the Costco hot dog. So would I eat here again? No, I'll spend the $14 to get a burger from a vendor just across the street in the fair, unless I'm with older friends who need air conditioning. For $3, you can get a cup of animal feed to pet some goats and llama and lambs, etc. For $10, there is a camel ride, but it will only take you twice around a small area (it's over in under 5 minutes). Pony rides for kids merry-go-round style also available. I had fun just watching other people enjoying the rides, while rubbing pig noses and feeding baby goats. We came in the morning, but wish I had stayed for the evening shows and music. Definitely planning another year!

The 2021 Ozaukee County Fair was the busiest I have ever seen. Animals are always the highlight for…read moreme, along with deep fried cheese curds ;) There wasn't really anything new that I saw but it was packed (I was there Friday and Saturday). It looked like mostly families enjoying the sunshine and the ability to go to an outdoor event. Great for the person that wants to experience a fair but not be overwhelmed; however, I would suggest attending during the day on weekdays to avoid a potentially large crowd. It really isn't anything spectacular, except that it is one of the last free fairs in Wisconsin. I do hope it remains that way in years to come.

The address on Yelp is incorrect; their new location is 890 Badger Circle…read more We have many months of cold weather here in WI, so we are always in search of indoor play areas for our little ones to burn off all that energy; Just 4 Fun is the perfect place for them to do that from the large Rainbow Play system with several slides and climbing walls. The layout inside is perfect too as you can see your little one from pretty much any part of the room. There are two areas set off to the side of the large room that the really tiny kids can play. All of their toys and equipment were in good shape. Our little ones really had a good time and asked to come back.

It is very clean and there are plenty of things for children probably 10 and under to do. There are costumes kids can put on and run around in. There is a giant indoor playground with multiple slides and bridges. There is even a smaller area for smaller children. Well worth the stop here

Lots of different birds can be heard singing and seen flying. This is also a great spot at night to come stargazing, or during the rare occasions an Aurora Borealis is visible in our area. So glass it's close to home!

One of Ozaukee counties little gems for mountain biking! 3 loops located at this spread, trails…read morewell maintained and signage easy to understand. The Ozaukee county mountain bike group keeps the public up to date on their face book page for trail work and group rides. They have also hosted mountain bike classes at this location. The beginner loop has easy grass and dirt trails to maneuver with few rocks. The intermediate has both hills, rock features and wood to ride over. The advanced loop has berms, bridges, rock features, hills and difficult features have alternates if they aren't for you. The best part about this park is that each loop has easy off access so you can do one or two.. Or all. This park is also home to snow biking in winter, snow showing and hiking trails year round! The hiking trail hosts a large pond and a wooden plank walk with a observation tower overlooking the park from a hill. The fee is free and there is bathroom facilities and a pavilion to park yourself for a lunch after a long ride. Once you master this park then your ready for green bush or any other challenge that faces you! Ride on!!!
