She is a gem! She's kind, supportive, knowledgeable and honest. I would suggest utilizing her for your banking service each time you go. She is worth the wait. (I won't name the other teller - but it took 40 minutes to make 2 withdrawals.) I actually gave up on re-ordering checks since their process took over 4 months to deliver them to me correctly. I was shocked when I opened a new checking account at another bank and received my checks within 2 weeks. Credit card replacement process is also slow and frustrating. Be careful. I did not have the energy or tolerance to attempt a car loan even with excellent credit. I went to another bank and avoided the unwanted frustration. While they may be improving, it is very slow to show the results to their customers. Mist of my banking needs have moved to another credit union.

It's set up in a non-traditional manner, with some kind of reception area right up front and the teller line far to the back. Apparently the commercial bankers are upstairs but can be reached by the various small business customers in the area. One of the employees heard what we were in for, and promptly got us pulled aside to a more private area where we could get the assistance we needed efficiently and without any of our information being overheard by any of the other people in the bank. He really knew what he was doing, and did an excellent job setting expectations and getting everything done.

We'd drive out to a Frost location to cash - then go up the road to spend it ALL at Grapevine Mills on frivolous fun. I always felt like a tool, in sweats and ponytails, when walking into their lovely building. However, no judgment - from a SINGLE employee. We were ALWAYS welcomed with the utmost respect, gratefulness, and a better vibe to enjoy our little treasure (in appropriate attire for trying on bargain deals). I was NEVER a client - but I was remembered. I was NOT a client - and I got a "Hi! *insert weather/small talk" BEFORE making it to the teller. I was NOT a client - and I had tellers ask about my dog/child/shopping plans. ??? I've not witnessed this kind of family-friendly environment since I shopped with my grandmother in Chicago. (and, btw, my daughter was a teen) My husband and I JUST made the leap to move EVERYTHING to them...after 4 years of thinking soooo highly of them, we've gotten to a point where we don't need a branch next-door. We need a branch that, when we've had a long day - we're welcomed with a human smile and a sincere appreciation for how hard we worked to deposit our little bit of money. I thought it was a fluke when I used to go to the one by Greenway Plaza until I used this bank to cash my check. C o u r t e s y, that is what I am talking about when I say "While you are sticking me with your high interest rates, at least give me a reach around and a smile while doing it" Not all banks have given me this grief before and I feel that Frost Banks are like junior Chase's. The tellers are very professional. Does not matter what race, creed or whatever excuse but have seen all different types of tellers at Frost and Chase banks and all I can assure in my opinion in my head is that they must have a strict hiring policy or equivalent. Courteous, helpful, professional and never a frown or stoic attitude. I was lucky to have gotten a time to go in and out within approximately three minutes. McDonald's can hardly beat that time. Parking at this location is ample and very easy to find. It is right on the corner of 290 and I believe to be Tidwell but don't quote me on that. Clean as a whistle, the parking lot cement is as white as it was new and don't ask me why i was looking but being surprised at how clean it is here I did not even notice any gum blobs on the sidewalk. The exterior has you feeling like you are walking into a newly built home with the trees and shrubs. Interior just about the same. An armed officer is on site for you crime conscious individuals. Bank of America, your hiring system is broke. Shop your competitors and then shop your own. As as I have been to two Frost Banks and dozens of Chase banks, there really is a big difference in attitudes, cleanliness and customer service with these institutions. Yes, I have been to different Bank of America places, only one word comes to mind. GHETTO. ============================================== Tips to New Yelpers and Old: Like every walk of life there are few people in any organization, group and even social groups where there will be some unpleasant individuals making you think that the whole follow suite. That is NOT the case about the yelpers once you meet them in person. If you are on the fence about ever attending a UYE or are an Elite and rather not go to any events because of what you see on the talk board, try it out at least once! I used to think like that because I would notice at least two long time standing participants in the "talk" section but once I started going to the UYE's I found out that for the most part these people IN PERSON were pleasant and things weren't really like they negatively viewed by me while I was doing the lurking part. I have run into at least 12 people who said the same "I would rather not meet up with these people who I see throwing their weight/experience in yelp around etc etc etc" but once they make that leap of faith and show up, the 99% of the other people deem the arrogant offenders void since the other dozens or so will have you realizing they are just people like you and I but share the same likes.......food! Yes Geo, this means you too.
