Lived here for 4 years and live this building . It's 50 yrs old but they don't make them like this anymore .

The board of directors are completely incompetent. Imagine a leak happening in the lobby and the board is yelling about the potential overtime instead of the damage the leak could have caused. The board is comprised of psychopaths that want your money but don't want to take care of the building. This building has 50 year old cast iron pipes. The pipes have large holes in them everywhere. If you want to live in a crappy building with very little maintenance performed, this is the place for you. read more

My husband & I are Canadian but we own a unit on the 2nd floor. So this is our home away from home. Because of covid we were unable to check in on our place, however now that we can, I forgot how much I missed it!! Staff are GREAT & altho like most places not everything is perfect, we enjoy it. Overall I am pleased with the bldg. We bought our unit in 2014 or 2015 & just luv coming to Vegas to shop/eat & relax by our pool. There is a gym & minutes away from the strip. This building has a lot of history. Staff, guards, and homeowners are super nice and helpful. It's also dog friendly and they upkeep the property very clean. We've had monthly gatherings before covid 19 happened. The gatherings were always fun and had been a great way to meet the neighbors. It's a fairly quiet and respectful community. read more

Nice, but older, condominium high-rise located within the Las Vegas Country Club Golf Course. Friendly and helpful valet and concierge. Good security includes dual layer entry: Las Vegas Country Club grounds and building security, which includes multiple cameras, live surveillance, roamers, etc. Convenient hand carts in the front are available for groceries, moving, etc. Two-level assigned underground parking. Nice outdoor area includes a big deep (9 feet!) pool with a fun shallow "beached whale" area, a small spa, two gas barbecues, showers and bathrooms, covered picnic areas, 3-hole putting green, a tennis court, and snack and drink vending machines. HOA fees include a lot more, such as an on-site laundry facility, trash chutes on every floor, 3 fast elevators, a fitness room, building maintenance, a library and a beautiful inviting lobby. Guest parking is in front, with handicapped access. Although it's the oldest high-rise condo tower in Las Vegas, it's clean and well maintained. Management decided to remodel the hallway at the home owner's expense !Be prepared to pay tens of thousands dollars on top of the $1200 condos fees!Plumbing is a major problem!The ceiling is leaking from the unit upstairs and we are expected to tear down the ceiling and fix it!Toilet constantly not flushing or leaking........And the elevator is broken again after months of repairing! I have to wait 10 minutes before I am able to get down to the ground floor! read more

I would recommend everyone ignore reviews prior to 2017. We bought our unit here at Regency Towers in 2009 and retired here in 2014. We had a major and much needed overhaul in our maintenance staff starting with the top building engineer in addition to the property management company the building uses. We also experienced a major change in our Board of Directors which was much needed. It is a different world now, with huge improvements in every respect. We love living here. It's one of the best decisions we ever made. read more

We have lived here for a few months and all I have to say is I have never more at home than here at Regency Towers. First, the staff is world class, everyone is polite and extremely helpful. It has the be the best part of living here, they make us all feel like celebrities. It really feels like you are living in vintage Beverly Hills. No wonder so many celebrities have lived here. Second, the build quality is excellent overall. You can tell they wanted this place to be the place to live back in the 70's. Lastly, the residents are all great people and they make you feel at home. Love this place, highly recommend if you like that old school vibe. read more

I've happily lived in Regency Towers for over a year, so I was amazed to see the negative reviews associated with this building. Granted, I live in a completely updated unit, and have only been in other renovated units, but Regency Towers is a needle in a haystack. I searched for a high-rise apartment for MONTHS (hotel living) prior to landing my pad at Regency. Other high-rises in Las Vegas would give me a snotty runaround vibe, bait-and-switch, or just make it all too difficult to facilitate the move-in process (cough, Allure, cough, Turnberry Towers). Moving into Regency was smooth and hassle-free. Unlike other high-rises in Las Vegas, Regency keeps a consistent, caring staff on duty 24/7. The front desk and bellman are more than friendly and accommodating; they certainly make me smile when I depart for work and return from an evening out. I've never felt that they had ulterior motives, and it makes me feel secure seeing the same familiar faces day-in and day-out. I should mention the neighbors. Regency seems to have a lot of older tenants, which I LOVE (even as a millennial). Friends who live in other high-rises complain of "new money" residents and prostitutes frequenting each floor...if you're a loud partier or a prostitute, this is certainly not the building for you. Sure, Regency is an old building and renovations could be focused elsewhere - but you can't beat the willingness of the management. Anytime I have had any issue with my unit, the staff has someone to my door to help alleviate my problem within minutes. I've never had this kind of service before - and I've lived in much more "luxurious" buildings in both Los Angeles and Florida. Living inside the gates of the Country Club is like the polar opposite of living in Las Vegas - there are full grown trees, beautiful homes, and friendly neighbors. Oh, and there isn't trash everywhere either. You may be paying a deposit for this or that, but what high-rise or community doesn't require some sort of tedious deposit? Furthermore, you live in the best of both worlds. The Las Vegas Country Club is an oasis inside of otherwise ugly Las Vegas, and just minutes from the Strip! I would've posted this review sooner, but I honestly didn't want to attract the wrong crowd to my favorite spot in Sin City! read more

The prior review is dead on! The place reminds me of Jerrys Nugget downtown! The head of maintenance phas a half dozen projects going at once and they are never completed! During the summer the whole place smells like a sewer from the heat and cracked pipes In the building. Whoever puts up those ridiculous notices in the elevator is an absolute egomaniac with know filters at all! Embarrassing is the best way one can describe it! I watched Regency Towers being built in the 1970s and currently live there. It is, without a doubt, a great place to call home: the staff, the security, the walled grounds of The Las Vegas Country Club and, of course, the view--especially if your unit faces 'The Strip'! I recommend Regency Towers for anyone who's concerned about security, a pleasant staff and a central location: blocks from 'The Strip', close to the airport, close to UNLV--I like living there so much, I recently convinced a friend to purchase a unit. dlc read more

Run, do not walk from renting or buying at Regency Towers UNLESS you have the unit inspected and ALL pipes in the unit and the neighboring units have been relined. Check for draft/leaks in the sliding doors caused by old weatherproofing, or your NV Energy bill will be outrageous. Check your wiring/cable/phone lines. They are frequently messed up behind the plates. Parking is cumbersome if you just went grocery shopping, as you have to navigate stairs unless you park in front to unload. You will then have to repark your car after unloading. The neighborhood has had burglars. Always lock your car and valuables in the ramp. Management is attempting to upgrade and make improvements where things were allowed to go without maintenance for many years. Hence, the leaking pipe issue and subsequent invasive pipe relining project. Common areas, such as hallway carpeting are disgusting and smelly. Pets have had accidents in the hallways, so watch out. The views are great, and the neighborhood convenient. But, the whole LVCC has seen better days. I would rent/buy a newer home in the neighborhood over renting/buying in the condo tower. This does not solve the burglary problems, but your sewer pipes may not be leaking, as they have in the Towers. So prior to moving here, Regency Towers, I looked for reviews and couldn't find any. So now after living here for some time I thought I would write a review and hopefully help future possible residents with their decision... So first off we rent, thankfully...I would have been very disappointed if I had bought a condo here at Regency. So first off the renting/move in process; A few things to be aware of, Regency Towers Management makes you as a renter complete an extensive background packet, including a background check. Of course Nevada Law states renters can not be subject to any special conditions that owners are not also subject to, such as background checks. Well I guess Regency Towers hasn't figured out that law because they do make renters do these packets and background checks that owners do not have to do. So just be aware of that. Also since you are living in the gated Las Vegas Country Club you will have to make a deposit, $250, for each vehicle parked on property. The deposit is so if they find you speeding or something they can fine you...I haven't had this happen yet but waiting for the day they attempt to fine me for anything. They will understand law a little more clearly if they ever attempt to do so. You also have to give them your vehicle registration and proof of insurance...another invasion of privacy. They don't check visitor vehicles for proof of insurance when they come on to the property so not sure why they would check residents vehicle insurance. So back to the Regency Towers. So where to start...the plumbing in this 40 year old building is bad, very bad. They are currently undergoing a very invasive "fix" to the plumbing lines in an attempt to not have to replace the lines. The invasive "fix" consist of a company going down each section of the tower and lining the sewer pipes with a new liner. During this process they have to gain entry to the units in the area of the fix, causing an ongoing disturbance to residents. On to the ongoing, non-stop putting lipstick on a pig remodeling...so they renovated the pool, it was a nice renovation but truly unneeded. They also placed this pebble stone treatment on the driveway, again unneeded. They also renovated the valet area so they had somewhere to place valet carts. They also replaced the front door to the building. They also renovated the circular planter in the driveway. They also are putting lights on the front sidewalk portion of the building. They also have a ton of small projects that are never ending...all of the above projects have been just in the last 4 months. So everywhere you go on the property there is construction...not a good living experience. So after all that lipstick on a pig remodeling they fail to fix the things people use the most...like the elevators. They have two main elevators and one of them has a door sticking problem; the door will open about 4 inches get stuck for about 30 seconds, close and sometimes do this multiple times before opening. The elevators also don't have good safety sensors, be careful trying to prevent the door from closing by placing your hand in between the doors...its dangerous. You also have the unlevel floors in all of the units...the floors, like many cement high-rises with the same age have this problem. The floors are so unlevel you honestly can't help but notice it. So it's a 40 year old building that has seen better days. They attempt to be high-end and at one time most likely were a much nicer building...now not so much. When you allow pet owners to use the front grass area as a bathroom making the whole front area smell it's not really a high end place. And finally you also have a woman who is on the board of the Regency Towers that places daily bulletins in both of the elevators...her OPINION on many subjects. The "facts" she places in many of these bulletins are not actual facts. So on many days you get to read about her personal opinion on things like politics...real classy. So there is my OPINION of the Regency Towers in Las Vegas. If you still decide to rent or buy in this building I with you luck but you should really think about it read more

Regency towers is a Beautiful building located in the Las Vegas country club. It is a very beautiful Neighborhood locatd right off the strip but is gated and secure. 1850 sq ft 2 bedroom units and 400 sq ft balconies make this one of the best spacious buildings in Las Vegas. Yes the condo board is crazy but all of them are. The president is very old and will soon be gone. read more
