I got up looked around and couldn't tell what it was. My wife noticed at 630 in the morning the headboard was slanted and immediately called the front desk and reported it. Upon receiving our bill they charged us $565, although Assistant General Manager Andrea Collin's only claims $500. The headboard was clearly being held up by cheaper plastic wall anchors. They're claiming we must have been too rough, or bouncing on the bed, none of which is truth. $565 for a headboard being remounted is an absurd price, and screams scam as Hilton HHonors policies are location specific. Until Andrea Collin's is out over there I wouldn't stay, because you will probably be charged with some sort of damage, regardless if it's wear and tear

Check-in was fast and simple. I've never experienced this even at the hotels where I'm a regular. Because of the reviews, I thoroughly inspected my room and didn't find any evidence of insects nor bad smells. I even removed the linen to inspect the mattress. My room and the hotel smelled clean. My room was very clean and although it was freezing outside, I couldn't tell because the room was warm without turning on the heater. Instead, I slept with the AC on. The mattress was extremely comfortable, the pillows were just right, and I got the best sleep I've had in months. The curtains are definitely blackout, major plus! The property was very peaceful. The room is equipped with everything you need for a short term or long term stay. The room has two desk, one that rolls so you're free to position yourself wherever you'd like to work, research, or play games etc. There's nothing like a shower with hot water, most have lukewarm warm if that! The only thing I'd change is the position of the tv. I suggest mounting it on the wall or moving the tv and dresser to the center of the wall. I didn't eat breakfast but it smelled and looked good. Everything went right with my stay, and I'll definitely make another reservation here again. Before leaving, I also gave a positive review to the manager, Lacey. The staff is really helpful and allowed me to check in as soon as the room was ready without additional fee. I was also able to upgrade to a king studio suite without additional cost because it was available and I'm a Hilton Honors member. It's been a really comfortable stay and I love having the fridge and microwave in my room with the uncertainty of the pandemic. It makes me feel a lot safer to eat here with take out.

Then she asked if I could come in the following day which was Tuesday. Ofcourse I said yes, knowing it wasn't going to be easy since I live 40 miles from the hotel. But I wasn't going to say no, I figured since I told her Wednesday or Thursday, that she would automatically know, Tuesday wasn't going to be easily obtained for me to come in for a trial run. I worked most of Monday night getting money for gas to be at the hilton the following morning at 10, I didn't factor in all the red lights I would catch or that it's on the farthest east side of Odessa. I arrived at 1015. I didn't see her, after waiting for a little bit, I asked from dest to let Stephanie know I was there. At about 1030 she came out to me, in front of a guest she told me how I was 30 min. late and they would be in need of my services. It was a trial, I have so much to offer and wasn't even given a chance. I wasn't 30 min late, and I'm not perfect, I guess she is perfect and only perfect people are hired. Also the day before I had finished filling out some paperwork and Stephanie told me to wait for her, 30 minutes later a different woman came out to me , she was laughing under her breathe while glancing back towards an office and told me to be there the next day. I honestly feel that Stephanie isn't professional at all, and she didn't like me and found it funny to have me come in the next day knowing ,It was possible I would have some difficulty being there at 10. If hired I was going to relocate to Odessa . I hope no one else has to deal with the embarrassment and the intentional inconvenience, that Stephanie gave and did to me . Thank you, Charla Calvin

Never felt comfortable taking off my shoes, even in the shower. The room smelled of cigarettes (the lobby smelled of fabuloso) and I only had relief after purchasing a scented wall plug-in. I posted pictures of my room for further proof of maintenance concerns. This place is packed so they're definitely not having any problems with booking guests but the 3.5 star rating was deceiving. Positive notes: quick and efficient check-in, coffee and a cold breakfast available each morning, plenty of clean towels, and new towels were replaced on day 3, the window unit cooled the room well, and cheap ($200 for 3 nights) you get what you pay for.
